    My driver side headlight went out in my 2013 regal gs and I went to autozone got the same d1s but when I put it in it didnt work, is there any programming that needs to be done possibly? or am i missing something simple? ps: I also replaced my battery myself before the light went out and I was starting to think that could be the problem but i wasnt sure since the headlight went out way after the battery was replaced.

    • @3Wheels1Block

      Thank you, the headlights will enter change fitment wise. However the wiring and lamps may be different on your model. It depends on if you are running HID light or halogen bulbs. I think that you can get a plug and play conversion, just not sure where.

    Question: If one knows what they are doing, how long can you assemble the full assembly for 1 side from start of taking bumper off until finished and bumper back on? Aka estimated time for the job?

    • @3Wheels1Block
      @3Wheels1Block  Před 2 lety

      If you are replacing the headlight assemblies probably about 2 hours. It is not hard to do, just a lot of fasteners. Just take your time, there are hidden screws that you can't easily see.

    How do you remove height unit completely to replace it

    • @3Wheels1Block
      @3Wheels1Block  Před 2 lety

      To remove this unit completely you need to do the following:
      Remove the front bumper
      Remove the headlight assembly
      Remove the head light lens
      There are 3 or 4 plastic tabs to turn
      The projector assembly slides out.
      I currently have a light apart I will post a video.

    I just replaced my headlight on the driver side.. but get no power on my light. Is it possible it can be the fuse..

    • @3Wheels1Block
      @3Wheels1Block  Před rokem

      It sound like it could be the fuse or the ballast if you have HIDs
      The fuses are in the fuse box under the hood:
      37 Right high-beam headlamp
      38 Left high-beam headlamp
      Hopefully it is a fuse, the ballast is located under the headlight assembly and you would need to remove the front bumper cover to get the headlight assembly out.

    • @3Wheels1Block
      @3Wheels1Block  Před 6 měsíci

      I understand your pain. You can remove the rear cap then moisture starts to form and it can help dry them out. Also use decadent packs for moisture abortion. The lights are resealable, but there is a little bit of a process to it.

    Any issues with moisture? I have moisture in mine.

    • @3Wheels1Block
      @3Wheels1Block  Před rokem +1

      Hey HyperXprojects! What ever happened to the video with those Americans Racing 20" black wheels? I'm still waiting to see what the whole car looks like with them? Your video just had a close up.
      To answer your question, I did not have any moisture issues until I had one get cracked. I ended up replacing the lens and it has been fine for the past 6 months.
      If you have moisture you should 1st check your rear gaps and make sure the gaskets are good and they are tight. If that doesn't fix the issue you have a leaking gasket. You will have to remove the light, bake at 250 F in an oven for about 14-17 minutes, remove the light lens and use a small butyl tape or black permatex to reseal it. I do not recommend household silicone, even though a lot of people use that.
      I'm the meantime get some silica gel packets and toss in the housing to remove as much moisture as possible, the electronics in the housing will fail it you don't. You typically lose your LED switch back and then the ballast for the HID headlight.
      Good luck 👍🏾
