Learning how to sew a seam is simple. Essentially it's (2) pieces of fabric sewn RST (right sides together) then turned WST (wrong sides together) after being sewn. This creates a beautiful seam.
It's the foundation for sewing! Learn how to sew a straight seam and you can begin making things for your house, clothing or anything else your creative journey takes you. Skies the limit when it comes to things to sew.

I would recommend looking for a used singer heavy duty machine before I'd purchase a machine that costs less then $100. I am new to sewing and have tried to find marking pens they dry out really fast do you recommend anything for marking things I like to hand sew and a lot of the marks would be on the front. Thanks

I’ve sewn for over 50 years. So while this video was playing I read the section where you have your notes and product recommendations. The description in the second paragraph seemed off to me. It’s the WST and RST references. At first I thought it was a description for making a French seam. That wasn’t it either Maybe 🤔 I’m just confused! 😂😂
