Yes my fellow trinis ! The ads really bring back memories to me Trinidad Tobago had less technology But T&T was the best back then. Kirpalani's was the biggest thing in truth! I like all the ads but i also real like the Royal Extra Stout one too! and Chris Garcia in it! I had forgotten that!

Man, I wish I did. You can try Guardian Media (TBC's) archives. But I wouldn't hold my breath. There's a place called Chapman's--located somewhere in Morvant near GISL (where AVM/Channel 4 used to be). They're supposed to have tons of commercials that date back to the 80s, maybe even the 70s. Beyond that, I really don't know. Hope this helps.
Who remembers the Du Maurier cigarette commercial with Boscoe Holder when he said whiles smoking a cigarette "If you have it flunt it " Damn with that baritone voice of his and the creater of that commercial had people using those words every time they bought a pack of Du Maurier cigarettes.
They were fantastic! Found them following their heroes "rado" desperados in Lavantille Carnival of '85, I think. So charming and enthusiastic to work with.
It appears that the background music was louder than the announcers in them advertisements, audible enough that they were identified thru google song search widget on phone. Wow, you just pulled the memory of that toy video from the back of my sub concious boy...that was a massive throwback. The only thing is that unike other toy commercials I recall from the past and the ones I see today, the kids aren't playing with any of them....there're just in the gaze of the children....was this intentional?

I like the English accent in Trinidad and Tobago, I thought English language in T & T was not so good, only a Creole, but not standard English, as in USA, Australia or Canada.
