That's because long ago we actually had to buy expensive equipment to make ads but when we got inexpensive software during the 2000 we can use cheap editors and other stuff to create ads

@@sensimania Very serious. The Advertisement nowadays are very poor. The ones long ago had good ideas . Today we would have an advertisement playing for 10 years. TV6 has the same diana powermint for years. LOL

I never taught at my age I'd be looking at old commercials and feeling nostalgic. I love that the video ends with this particular Angostura commercial.
When i was kid i use to watch T&T ads and it brought back memory. Make T&T great again.
The quality of things were soooooo much better, enjoyed those days to the fullest

Ey, I truly enjoyed this! Some names of the personalities in the ads: Dennis 'Sprangalang' Hall, Paul Keens-Douglas, Errol "Stalk" St Hill, Shirley 'Buelah' King, Alwin 'Kitchener' Roberts and the Kisskidee artiste.
Then the companies and products from that time: Telco, BWIA, YoungSing, Dixi Cola. Of course, there's the Najib Elias ad and its classic tune!
OMG... Love the advertisements brings back so many memories. When Trinidad was really a Paradise. And 50 years later we are loaded up with guns, gangs and Venezuelans taking over Trinidad. Wish one day that my sweet Trinidad could go back to how it was.🇹🇹🙏🏼

My most memorable advertisement back then was the Diquez petroleum jelly ad with Lincoln and the bumble bee and a slightly more up to date one is the play whe ad that's my number lol

@@kerrysawh9372 ...Home is sweet home afterall. Haven't been back since 93 for my cousin's wedding. He married a beautiful girl and they migrated to the UK since 94. All of my relatives have migrated out of Trinidad. There is no one there anymore so I lose interest in visiting. Sorry to say.

I was in a Trinidadian AIM Toothpaste commercial in the 70s. I would LOVE to find it. Any tips on where to look? It was a little girl and me (at 8 or 9 years old) brushing our teeth in matching baby blue pajamas.

Good stuff. But what led me here is that I'm trying to track down a pepsodent advertisement around 1997. It wasa popular one with a guy with a jack hammer inturepting a meeting and the manager storms out to confront the construction worker...and that's where pepsodent made the difference.
