I jacked up a small tractor with a Pittsburgh 3ton. I got busy with something else and left it jacked up without blocks over the weekend. It held up and didn’t slack off but it didn’t work after that. It was fixable, but just an FYI

Update: exactly yesterday the jack blew a seal and started leaking. It lasted exactly 10 years so I'm satisfied. Bought the orange Daytona long reach yesterday and I love it. It does drop fast though so you have to have some finesse to make it drop slowly but it's fantastic nonetheless

Excellent Video! I've been looking for another Pittsburgh brand version of the 3-ton low profile. I have one now (7 years and going) and I wanted to buy another for a gift. HF doesn't sell them anymore. Glad to find your video and the Husky jack! !-yr warranty instead of HF 90-day seals the deal for me. Thanks!

Just got the Daytona and i love it. My HONDA FIT is a very hard car to get the jack under but once the Daytona starts to lift its game over. Put my HONDA FIT sky high in the air. Its also a very smooth lifting jack.

One of the other diference is the warranty, The Pittsburg comes with 90 days warranty vs the Husky's 1yr limited warranty, since they are same product as mavy have mentioned, I just picked up the Pittsburgs and added a 2yr warranty.

Thanks! Very informative. I just bought this same Husky jack today at Home Depot for $129, down from $189 it's retailing for these days. It's a 4th of July sale. Watching your quality affirming video here makes me happy I bought it. It's not available at Amazon from the link you have above and I think they no longer carry Husky jacks.

Helpful review. I recently purchased the Pittsburgh low-profile with rapid pump. Debated about going with the Daytona low-profile with rapid pump; still debating, while I'm within the return period.
Prior to seeing your video, the key decision for me: was that the Daytona cost an additional $40 (at least the day of my purchase) and weighed 9 lbs more (9 lbs I don't want). I really like the action (especially the release action) on the Pittsburgh. The one thing I'm not excited about on the Pittsburgh, is the rubber nipple plug for the hydraulic jack fluid; would much rather have a screw. I'm assuming the Daytona's fill cap is a screw; have not confirmed that though.

I just got the 3 ton Pittsburgh rapid pump for $107 out the door price. I wanted the Datona for $129 but they didn't have any at the HF i went to. Either way im happy! Ive been using a Duralast 1.5 ton for the last 4 years and it doesn't allow me to lift the back end of my f150 up to do the brakes in the rear. This new 3 ton Pittsburgh i know will lift my pickup truck with no problems. I cant aait to use it this weekend!

Husky warranty really is great, these do specifically say 1 year warranty buy yea depending on the employee working I could see them swapping it out. They don't seem to ask for receipts, though I've only ever brought in some hand tools, if it says husky they'll swap it. I do love Lowes but they could learn a thing from Home Depot about how to handle a lifetime warranty.

What is going on with this thread?😂 I’m not pitching the husky. The Pittsburgh and husky are the EXACT same jack. I said that in the video several times. I would have bought Pittsburgh, but they were sold out and most of their “sale” prices were kind of lame. I love the Daytona. The look and color choice, is so cool. But it just doesn’t have the clearance and the throw of the other style. The only reason why you hear me talking about the husky so much, is because I just bought it and was doing a new Daytona vs a new husky. I wasn’t sponsored. All this was paid for by my own money. I was being honest and objective. My final answer was, buy the jack that is most on sale between the husky and Pittsburgh, and if you just really want a Daytona, sometimes their sales put them within $10-20. Not biased. I could care less which one you buy. This is just my experience. And just fyi, after this video we bought two Pittsburgh jacks, so that we have 4 if needed.
