Got to admit I enjoy breakfast at the Pattaya Beer Garden, although really brunch because I don't eat much typical breakfast food. Still a good place to have a coffee, a smoothie, and a snack to start the day. Cheap Charlie's on Bukhao is my 2nd favorite spot.

The bakery near the triangle bar is my favourite, great breakfast menu and the healthy option is a nice change from the fry ups

I would agree, the Continental is very good with themed breakfast: English, Scottish, German etc, also, it is open at 5 am
One of the few places in Pattaya offering quality wholemeal bread!
Agree, I've only used the on on Thappraya road, but the English breakfast ain't as good as some available 🙏🙏
Really enjoyed that breakfast tour. Nong was looking poorly so I hope she’s ok soon and not overdoing it.
Some good candidates there. I’ve eaten at some of them in years gone by so it’s good to see them still going.
Bake n Brew was always one of my favs not just for break fast but for all foods. Used to be very popular and often hard to get a table.
Cheap Charlie’s looks like it takes some beating for the price. Trev did a chat with the owner recently since he now in Jomtien, seems a nice guy with a good story.
Breakfast looked ok in the first one except for the toast , must have put it in the toaster for about 3 seconds !

Hello David. Great tour of the breakfast spots. My lady has taken me to a few when I was there last. Now I have many more options for breakfast.
Hope Nong is feeling better. She looked under the weather and did not have the usual twinkle in her eye.
Great vlog David. My favourite breakfast places are Kung's (especially their Bacon Cheese Croissant) and i-rovers. Mum on Soi 15 is also a good choice for a healthy breakfast.
yeah I-rovers knows how to cook eggs right - plus their bread is buttered quite well. I stayed @ I-Rovers upstairs for 3 weeks this year and I enjoyed it.
Great video I’ll have to try as many as I can while I’m in Pattaya. This will be a good reference, as with your other dining options.

David, this is good video, in fact excellent relative to your contemporaries . I would agree Bake n Brew is one of the better places in terms of quality. Perhaps individuals needs differ from one to another, I often wake up early when on vacation and the Continental fits the need, as it is a bakery and it opens at 5 am. There are theme'd meals: English, Scottish, German, etc. Quality wise, it is good but not the best. Post 8 am, the are are a lot of choices. I like that you've had include the Devonshire on Soi Lengkee, it is very good. I have tried Kung's twice which opens at 8: first visit I was rudely told they were not ready and I need to wait, 20 min later I was able to place my order, the food was OK; second time I arrived at 8 am and was told they are not open and asked to come back later.
Breakfast seems to be a competitive area. For example, I would frequent Witherspoon's on Soi Buakuo but being the only person in the restaurant I am looking a 10 persons across the street looking back at me? (forget the name of that restaurant) and so I tried it, good service, quality was better and cheaper.
As a suggestion, do a deep dive onto restaurants and what's them better vs other. Thanks.
LK President Hotel has delicious breakfast/brunch for 300 baht. Highly recommend it.
Thanks - I was happy with Hungry Hippo, I-Rovers and The Nest (Robyn Nest). Cheap Charlies is fine but if I had to choose one place it would be Hungry Hippo.

Yes both seem very popular, Kungs sometimes gets a hard time because of wait times, especially as everything is cooked fresh. Ive only tried Kilkenny in an evening so will have to give the breakfast there a bash 🙏🙏
I normally go to kungs . Sausages are really nice. Hideaway too is very good. I'll be able to go end of next week. Cheers David
Pitini on Soi Buakhao , you just went by it 2 times.. Real pan fried potatoes .. My favorite..
My favourite is Sands Café in Pratumnak. English breakfast with Cumberland sausage, and on the beach (was 241 in August). Going to try Cheap Charlie's on Jomtien Soi 5 when I return next month.

@@MSBadger99 Theirs a couple of good ones Badger l always popped into C.C.s or into Soi Lenkee for a bite to eat when l stayed at Sutus Court. Think the 18 coins has gone used to be a top place that back in the day, nice restaurant there as well. 👍

You went past the Malee on soi Lengkee, nooooo 555. The Malee for me is without a doubt the best value for money on breakfast and dinner, farang food excellent, thai food superb and staff are great. BTW the strawberry sundies are something else.

We used to have breakfast at the Pig and Whistle when we wanted a full English but I think it may have been a Covid casualty
Used to love the steak and eggs there.
Your breakfast was great value and unless the coffee was included, they didn't charge for it and it had a great crema....Bon cafe pretty good especially if the barista has skills.......The pad grapao looked lush and certainly a substantial portion.....ambiance, cleanliness and overall comfort impressed; somewhere I would definately try now you've put it on my radar........cheers

Yeah Kungs is by far one of the best for breakfast, I mostly go to Caddy Shack which has a good selection also.
We use Caddyshack also, just for cycling a route it was off the beaten track a bit
That Continental Bakery does a good breakie and has many choices too.

Hunger pangs opposite King's do brilliant burgers David, I don't know if you have tried them yet. The burgers were however a little bit salty to my taste buds that may have been the bacon though. I had a double patty burger with cheese and it was probably one of the best burgers (for the price) I have ever eaten..... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Wow that first one is the small brekky? I was at places they would call that large size, Devonshire is my favorite, lovely staff and convenient for were I am staying I plan too try Kungs and Cheap Charlies and the Nest, when I return in December, Thanks David I hope Nong gets well soon!

I get Pad kra pao moo kai for breakfast quite often. Or sometimes chicken instead of pork.
My normal is Fried Rice with Chicken, but Nong mixes it up a bit, Pad Thai, or sometimes just adding bamboo shoots to the Pad Kapow, she is not a fan of chicken 🙏

It's one that I've never been keen on, a bit like porridge, great for a cold day but other than that, no thanks. My usual is fried rice or pad Kapow 🙏🙏

Mr T at the very end, I always wondered where they were. I always use them for a taxi to and from the airport for years now, very good, have never been let down yet and are a lot cheaper than the regular taxis.

Been to Harry's once for breakfast and never again, very poor quality/presentation and the staff were well grumpy.

I got an English breakfast in the Yorkshire hotel in patong phuket couple yr ago it was absolutely vile, uncooked
Not in my experience...I have had to send back some fried eggs, because they were still snotty on top, but that's about the worst I've had 🙏🙏

Went to Nickys all through covid, nice English lady that runs it. Always my first choice for Fish and Chips, Sunday roasts are pretty good too, 😊well recommend. Witherspoons further down Soi Buakhao open from 7am until 1am is pretty good for food, as well as being a sports bar!

After living here, without any of that pc rubbish that is splitting the world apart you are having a laugh. I understand the fear that first timers to Thailand have, especially when they see a beautiful lady but are scared to ask the actual gender. I try to help viewers understand how easy it is to just ask if they have any doubt. I have a couple of friends that are LBs and definitely have no issue with them in any way 🙏🙏

Both Cheap Charlie's and Hungry Hippo were good But YES I found Kung's late during my stay but I ate there every day. I recommend the french stack.
