She was a princess of England through her husband. She could've styled herself as Katherine Princess William of Windsor and Wales, Duchess of Cambridge. But that's just me being pernickety😉

That’s what used to happen to Marie Antoinette! One day a courtier truly fainted, and the Queen rushed to check on her and gave her all sort of personal attention. So then of course tons of ambitious courtiers started trying to “totally accidentally” faint in front of the Queen, melodramatically flinging themselves across the room, just dropping like flies at her feet, piling up like firewood (ok, not quite that much, but it was loads.) It happened so so sooooo much, she just started stepping right over them and moving on. So then, fainting anywhere near the Queen became social suicide, and people understandably wanted to avoid that . . . Until the whole Revolution thing, when being chums with Marie Antoinette was much more literally deadly.

Probably not on here, but... Back in the early '80s, when the entire world wanted to know "Who shot JR?" in the season three finale of Dallas, actor Larry Hagman was in England and met the queen - who asked if he could tell her who shot his infamous character. "No ma'am, not even you."
In reality, several would-be shooters were filmed. It took several weeks in to the next season to reveal the true shooter: JR's SIL and mistress, Kristen Shepard, who then claimed to be pregnant with his child
