I like the fact that you took it upon yourselves to notify that she was not the first and only one to break some of these rules. Because it's really tiring to see her being depicted as the black stubborn sheep of the royal family when they had a history of going against the rules way before she came into the picture. I don't see why what mattered to them so much so that they had to break tradition to express it has to be more important than what matters to her.
I feel like Harry is following in his mother’s footsteps. Breaking the norm of what folk expect of a royal family member. Probably for the best, it doesn’t sound much fun to stick to the rules that keep you in the past.
She’s sandpaper. On purpose. He gets a kick out of kicking “ the firm”. Love it or hate it- there are protocols for reasons. Cannot stand these two. If they were legit w wanting to make lasting change- there are better ways. This is opportunistic to the nth degree.

It’s bc you can tell the motivations behind it are different. She doesn’t compare to them. She is a flat out narcissist. She was shamed bc she has no humility and no respect for anyone. She went beyond breaking rules, she made herself a huge victim when she isn’t a victim, and villainized people that are not villains. Then turned her husband against his own family. Because she’s a “victim”. She plays it so well that Harry thinks he sees his mom in her, and that’s exactly what Megan was betting on. He fell for it and so did you. But she isn’t Diana and she isn’t Cate. She’s a predator and a proven liar.

Either you didn't do good research or this video is pure propaganda for Meghan Markle. 1. Royals have gone barefoot many times. Every time any member of the royal family goes to a Muslim country and visits a mosque must take their shoes off, there are plenty of pictures of Catherine and William barefoot on trips to Muslim countries, and they have also taken their shoes off in other instances. 2. Nail color. Catherine just wore red nail polish a few weeks ago in an Easter church service. The nude or soft pink nails were a Queen Elizabeth thing as far as I understand. 3. Pants. For the love of God!! So many royals wear pants. Princess Diana wore pants all the time, she even wore a tuxedo for official events on more than one occasion, Catherine wears pants all the time as well. Also, Queen Letizia of Spain and Queen Rania of Jordan wear pantsuits very often. 4. Royals are not supposed to give autographs because of security issues. That is not a snobbish thing, their signatures could be falsified and used for wrongful purposes. 5. The car door thing also obeys security reasons. 6. Stockings. Millions of regular women who work in offices around the world must wear them, it is part of the dressing code in workplaces, formal events and many other instances. Meghan chose not to wear stockings for her engagement announcement clearly because she wanted to create controversy, and honestly perhaps she should have, the day was pretty cold and she looked silly with her shoes that were too big and her bare skinny legs, which were surely freezing. Not to mention that Catherine has gone without stockings many times too. 7. leg crossing. If you are a public person and have pictures of you taken all the time and most of the time you are wearing a skirt, maybe it is a good idea to not take the crossing-uncrossing leg risk unless you want to show your underwear to the entire world. 8. Christening photos. Working royals are funded with tax money, they have access to a lavish lifestyle beyond what regular mortals can even imagine thanks to taxpayers; therefore, they have to give in return, and that includes sharing with the public things like the christening of your children. If she didn't want that, then she is much better away from the institution. 9. Political opinion. I personally don't see Meghan Markle as a feminist. All her life achievements are related to the men in her life and now she is so famous because she married a prince, before that, few people knew about her. 10. Gender announcement. Again, if you agreed to marry into an ancient institution with tight traditions maybe you should get adapted and follow them in exchange of living in castles, traveling around the world, wearing couture and tiaras, and having access to the wealthiest lifestyle there is.

She is a prime example of what you should NOT do when you marry someone who is from a different cultural background. Most people tend to be respectful to other peoples’ cultural traditions and backgrounds, if she had simply gone to Great Britain and tried to understand who they were as a country and their traditions, she would’ve been very much loved by the British people.

Omg. All these comments about “they gave up their titles”, how admirable. 😂. They haven’t given up the titles they exploit for money. Perhaps some folks need to watch more legitimate news outlets.
That aside; it does seem trivial that many “rules” were based more on Queen Elizabeth’s old fashioned preferences and less on practicality. With employers that have dress code policies, it makes sense to follow dress code on work related events, but allowed freedom to wear dark nail polish, pants, or go without pantyhose when not attending government functions. I wouldn’t criticize anyone for walking barefoot on a beach State event or not.
