- The 2020 #Dodge #Charger Scat Pack is the second-most powerful model just below the flagship Hellcat model. Available as either a standard or #widebody, the Scat Pack is powered by a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 producing 485 horsepower. While not as potent as the supercharged Hellcat, the Scat Pack is much less expensive with prices ranging from $40,000 to the low $50,000 range. Is it a better value than the Hellcat? I feel like the scat pack is the perfect daily. Hellcats are awesome, but they're just too powerful for most and fall into the "toy" category for me. Seriously considering getting one. Just need to decide, challenger or charger lol 😆

I love them all iam a Hellcat...brotha but i love them all even if ya have sxt or 5.7 they all are team mopar..nothing like 707 horses till u feel it..
Just bought my scat pack (indigo blue) about month ago and I love it!!! I'll usually hit the manual transmission when somebody wants some of the scatty.
Just FYI, the 392s are faster when you let the high tech ZF 8speed transmission shift on its own. Just a quick double tap of the accelerator will take the car to its lowest possible gear on a downshift and You're ready to leave em in the dust. Also, if you hold the left paddle shifter it'll downshift into the lowest gear then let it shift on its own from there. That's how u get the most from a 392. I own a 2016 SRT 392 btw. Years of experience with it!

Dude, what the hell are you talking about. The interior is great in this car. Love my 20 scat Charger WB in Frostbite. This car is a beast and you complain too much. Dodge is absolutely killing it. Mopar.
The interior doesn't live up to a $50,000 price tag. It's fine, but not high-quality.

CarBuzz people buy the car for the horsepower and fun factor not for luxury that’s what sets dodge apart from other brands. They are about ridiculous horsepower and not breaking the money budget as for instance you can get 797 horsepower wide body redeye with a 203 mph top speed and an all around fun car for under $90,000... it’s got more power than most exotics for a cheaper price.

If dodge gonna keep milking this generation body can they at least give the Scatpack an even 500 hp?
SeanScatpack Fallon whenever they do a redesign they should put in a naturally aspirated 7.0 426 V8. That would put it over 500 hp and make it really inticing.

Not everyone likes the idea of dumping their entire check into a car for monthly payments, gas and maintenance. Which is exactly what would happen if you got a hellcat, the scatpack on the other hand is the ideal GT car. Fast enough where it's exhilarating to drive, comfy for long distance trips and easier on the wallets. As another poster mentioned a hellcat is a weekend toy, the scat is a much better daily.
Nothing like the 2020 Ford mustang. might not have the power, but the looks 😎 if it wow's me

I like my narrow body scatpack only reason I would be mad I didn't get the wb if it came with the fender flares and an upgraded interior. But seeing thats its basically the same interior im good with the narrow body
I think they redid the sway bars and some other suspension adjustments for the loss of weight of the supercharger, cooler and other items. It's only 3.5 " wider, but the tires and rims!

I was going to share your review on fb until you started bashing the interior materials. You obviously have no idea what goes into engineering an over 4,000lb muscle car with a powerful 392 cu inch engine and steel engine block, zf8 speed trans and a steel safety cage to protect passengers in case of a crash. Because of that weight savings had to be implemented somewhere and the interior was the ideal place. These Chargers sell like hotcakes and there are loyal mopar enthusiasts like myself that you alienate when you make uninformed reviews like the one you just did.
So, the poor build quality on the interior is for weight savings? Listen, it's a cool car but the interior is below-average in terms of fit and finish. This opinion comes from driving every car on the market and comparing them. You buy a Charger for the great engines, not the interior luxury.
We believe you might be confusing weight savings with cost savings. You get a massive V8 with tons of power but something has to give somewhere else. On the Charger, it's the interior.

There are NO quality issues with this interior in terms of seams, gaps, mating surfaces etc. You wanna see a bad quality interior, look at a new Ford explorer. It's atrocious. Your only real concern is the grain/texture of the materials used, fit and quality are out of the question. This interior has been in production with small updates here and there for 10 years, all the quality issues are gone! If not, shame on Chrysler...

The interior is not worth the price tag, much better options on the market. Its definitely a nice looking car. You're literally an exhaust away from rattles and terrible gas mileage. The seats and space is good though. Im sure most people will just buy this car for the sound and straight line speed.

I love mine! Ordered a knuckle white with only the red brembo brake option and I drove out $41,000 with tt&l. Best car I’ve ever owned for that price!
