CONJOINED twins Sohna and Mohna want to inspire others. The 19-year-old twins from Punjab, India, are conjoined at the torso and share a gallbladder, spleen and pair of legs. Growing up at the Pingalwara Society in Amritsar, India, the twins learnt how to coordinate together and have recently secured jobs as electricians - a field they have always been interested in. Doctors told the twins that separation would lead to one of them not surviving and so the twins have decided to live life to the fullest together. Sohna and Mohna said: “Our message to the world is that we are happy together. We want people to learn from us, be inspired by us because we live our lives how we want despite being conjoined.”

Kind of like, when married for long, people start to say/think similar things at precisely the right time, but on a more extreme level

As for sex, if they are able to, normally the twins would both agree to it even if one of them isn't the other partipants lover. It may seem weird but they will still try to have normal lives just like us. They just have to go about it differently if they want to have those expierences. :)

This was amazing! My favorite part was when they said "when we found out we were conjoined, we thought about it and decided we didn't mind" and "we don't argue, we have to be together all the time so why argue?" I have so many questions, like if one is tired can they take a nap while the other stays active? How much of their senses are shared? Since they can manipulate something with 4 hands are they amazing at different arts and crafts? Their positive attitude is awesome.

@Li Li I saw another interview with conjoined twins with a similar joining and they were unable to learn to walk. I saw another video with another set of conjoined twins who said they had to learn to coordinate their steps to be in sync and they did learn to walk. But you are right, it's possible that it just came naturally to them.

@@kingreinhold9905 I would add, there is an evolutionary component. Evolution drives parents to abandon deformed offspring, wildlife does it all the time. For the sake of the species, the energy spent to try and raise offspring that either won't make it to sexual maturity, or can't reproduce, is better spent on attempting to make another offspring that will reproduce. Humans with their prefrontal cortex's have found a way to rationalize this away (but usually only for their own offspring).
You can take this a (some people would consider this mean) step further and argue that evolution drives animals to avoid genes that cause abnormal behavior or anatomy, to avoid tainting any future offspring with these genes.
It's just biology, has almost nothing to do with a persons conscious thoughts.
It's great to wish these boys will grow old, but the statistics are heavily against them. And denying this fact is naïve, even they admit this fact to themselves. Treating them like everyone else is near impossible with the aforementioned evolutionary drives that cause a species to avoid it's diseased and deformed.

Abigail and Brittany from the US are conjoined twins too and they also have the ability to say the same thing at the same time or finish each others sentences. I think they didn't when they were younger (there are a few documentaries about them) so maybe it just develops over the years when you're in such constant company of another individual.

Imagine how easy an exam for these guys. Two brains in one body. All the things that need to be memorized is shared between these two brains. Writing down and solving problems take less time and done with two hands together.
@@thatweeb4770 If you pay close attention when they're talking, you can see one of them will pick up or continue the conversation simultaneously alongside the other in virtually perfect sync. That's not from just living together since birth and knowing a lot about them, that's actual neuron firings transferring to both of them causing them to both speak at once occasionally. I know that's very different from their brains interacting directly, but it's not completely impossible.

@@userwithproblems669 I'm sure something like walking, to at least one of the brothers, feels entirely different from how we experience it; it could be that one of them has dominant control over a majority of the extremities, or that they both have roughly equal control and can "fight" on where to go. Imagining your body not going where you're trying to make it go, or start going when you're not telling it to, is such a surreal thought. Kinda eerie to me tbh but I'm sure these two have it down to a degree in their own way and they seem happy so that's the main thing

A four minute heavily edited video is not the end all be all of their full emotional experience. However, I am inspired by their overall story and still believe that that they are overall positive human beings.
I can't help but smile at their enthusiasm for life and for each other. What an amazing pair of lads.

That is insane! I can only imagine having a partner there for EVERYTHING. A best friend a brother a twin that you literally have to figure out life together. I’m so glad they have a support system within each other and around them. Miraculous really! ❤️ I’m so inspired.
