I’m experiencing similar problem, my turbo was gone then added new turbo. Now when i drive and turbo hit above 10psi, i can hear loud squeezing noise and there is more exhaust is going towards egr pipe but very low emission or exhaust through muffler. Any suggestions?
I'm running a 2009 western star with a dd15, the end parts on my exhaust manifold are leaking and I can't seem to find them....im in jamaica so it even harder....would u sell ura if they in good condition?
I just replaced a turbo on a 60 series 2 times The guy buys use turbos cus there expensive new. 😅 good work on the broken bolt man. Where you buy the extractors
Oh my gosh ya I would never do that too risky if it comes apart and takes out parts of your engine. You can get the extractors and reverse drill bits at the auto parts store hardware stores and home depot and lowes also online Amazon is a good place just be prepared for it to not be exactly what you needed you know ordering online..
It was rough I used my finger and a wrench turning 1/8 turn flipping the rench turning 1/8 turn again it took like 30 mins to get that bottom bolt out and just as long to get it back on. Also you can't pull bolt out all the way have to leave in manifold to pull manifold out

Check all your connections on your turbo and exhaust manifold and check the bands on your turbo usually exhaust leak will leave a mark of exhaust soot

Hey, I have the same snapped bolt you did, with your experience, do you think you could drill that bolt out after just removing the EGR and actuator?
Sometimes you can heat it up and drill it out but it all depends on the situation and how bad it is stuck

How did you remove the rear exhaust manifold with out removing the rear turbine turbo?

OMG this is pain in the as. 100 dollar bolt . Parts 1200+ if go dealer easy 5000+
