AS a beginner flite board owner, I have a few comments.. I took a lesson and was not allowed to use my fliteboard in the private lake.. They let me use a Lift board and I did not notice a significant difference on either board.. My second comment is the $6,995 entry level board. How much time will a beginner rider who weighs around 200 pounds get with the Nano battery?? Maybe 20 minutes ,, because I have almost 10 hours and I get just a little bit more than 1 hour on my explorer battery.

That's a bummer about not being able to ride your Flite, but it is a private lake so you have to follow their rules. It's hard to say what ride time you'll get as there are lot's of factors other than your weight that dictate your ride time (speed, water conditions, wing selection, # of falls in your session ect). As far as noticable differences between brands for a beginner it's hard to tell as it all a new sensation, but when you have 100's hours logged things like weight difference, mast height, and motor placement are VERY noticeable.
