Even though Jimin has struggled with maintaining healthy eating habits in the past , i take comfort in the the fact that he has a great support system. He loves eating and allows himself to eat regularly and gain weight in between promotional periods. Dancers and people of all professions that set requirements to how their body looks have to find out a way (hopefully healthy) to maintain it. He does seem to have found a balance.

If you react to Jimin’s whole album Face, just so you know there is a hidden track on the physical cd version of the album. The last song like crazy (English version) is 10 minutes on the cd and at 6min 13sec (BTS anniversary is 6/13) there’s an unofficial 7th track called “Letter” which is a letter to ARMY🥺. You can find it on CZcams though 🎉

I stopped breathing my first time through too. He blew me away from the start. This thing is a work of art and so is he. There are a thousand perfect details.
I stayed up for the album drop last night and it didn't disappoint. But this one is still special. I don't think he exactly meant to, but he sure did give us queer folks a coming out anthem. I love it so much 💜
About the weight and eating: I feel much better about it now that he can talk about his weight matter-of-factly and joke about it. It feels more like something he's doing for the job and less like something that's part of who he is.
People always point out that he's rich and has good doctors etc and I don't think they understand that disordered eating doesn't go away just because you have money and doctors. But overall, I do think he's in a safer, healthier place than in the past.

I watched the premiere and I was crying the entire time. Like I had a full blown mental breakdown and if I was watching on my phone, I would've thrown it. I am watching this after watching the premiere for Like Crazy and listening to FACE. I won't spoil it for anyone, but it is incredible and as a Jimin bias, I am in pain because I can't pick a favorite Jimin song now. I was set on Serendipity being my favorite until Set Me Free Pt. 2, now I don't know anymore.
Also the part where you poured water on yourself was both hilarious and very relatable. I probably would've done the same if I trusted myself around open drink containers lol, I just cried instead and sat in utter shock and awe.

LOved your reaction - as always - to Jimin, and especially liked that you chose to experience all three of these videos in their proper context. Jimin is wonderful and I'm so pleased that in this album he has chosen to show other sides to his BTS persona. Despite how different it was, I honestly was unsurprised by J-Hopes Jack in the Box side to himself: he was always very much himself but I think we heard a little about how different he was behind the scenes, while still being lovely, and it also leaked a bit in some of his perfectionist moments that we saw.. But in some ways Jimin was more private, and while we heard a little about him working on his own stuff, it seemed that he was mostly saying he was dissatisfied with it, or had destroyed it all, which was sad. It's so striking how expressive this is of some of that struggle, and I hope that, now that he's completed the album, I hope he does feel free properly.
On a side note : i'm here for your BTS content, and uninterested so far in the other artists, but would never say don't include them! You do you!

He said once that his weight fluctuations affect his balance and movements as a dancer. I do worry about when he talks about losing weight, that it influences people with EDs. Mostly I just want him to be happy and healthy.
I totally understand keeping at a certain weight for his dancing - but I just get concerned due to my own experiences. It’s all out of love 🤍🤍

Jimin usually goes on a diet when bts release new album. Because, he said, he can perform better when he maintain certain weight. Other members also check their weights when they prepare or perform the albums.
Just like some actors change their weight for the movies or shows, he does.

Go Jimin!!! Powerful exactly. No one but Anitra @saywhatreacts and Rosan @xCeleste has mentioned he used some aspects of Lie choreo in his new song. And ON vibes for sure. ON inspo. Heard this was the last song in the album. Like dang! 0.0 So glad u loved it. =0} So much symbolism too. So deep. I need a dance practice! Oh my gosh. Some choreo was from a Jackson Wang song called Blow. The more i watch the more i find things i did not notice on the 1st watch. The body tat German poem is beautiful and very fitting. Heard Sienna Lalau worked on this choreo. Not sure if she created alone or with a team though. UCLA choir was used again. They use them all the time on songs. The spiral/ the golden ratio, shell, 9, metaphors used as usual. The moon series of tats on his back is real. His Nevermind tat on his ribs is real and his 13 tat on his wrist is real too. The German poem on his chest tat was temporary. Jimin also has a 7 tat bet. his fingers on one hand. He has young forever tat above his elbows and youth behind his ear. I think the dancers in black could represent the doubts, fears and lack of confidence that he suffered at the start. And the autotune voice represents that angry, frustrated inner voice.

I think this is directed inward. He used to be weighed down by trying to be manly enough, good enough, worrying about what others thought and was crazy hard on himself. So happy that he’s at peace and comfortable with who he is. He’s such a beautiful artist. 💜

In my, of course, unbiased opinion this is the best debut among the guys, and that is saying something given how much I truly love Indigo and Jack in the Box. People were floored when they saw JHope's More. It was surprising in a way but also so on brand for JHope. Jimin, well. He has been painted as this polite, funny, and charming guy and I believe those are all true, but he has a soul of an artist. People are thrown off by the auto-tune which is used as an effect to show his inner dialog and opinions from others that have caged him. His response to these things is his singing/rapping voice in a register many have not experienced. I can't think of many that have taken so much hatred. It is now his time to shine and be fully and authentically himself. I am so excited for the album and his live performance on Jimmy Fallon's show.
