Honda Civic Si Chasing a C6Z06, A90 Supra, and a FK8 Civic Type R on track at Mosport Grand Prix

This past weekend I was testing the team Ryspec Honda Civic at Mosport Grand Prix circuit hosted by Ontario Time Attack at their lapping and instruction day. I was in the green Advanced/ Instructors group. I have not been here in 6 years! And, this isn't my car so I was taking it a bit easy.
The mechanical rev limit of the engine is 8600 rpm, and the limiter was set at 8000 rpm. It's an enduro car, so to be extra nice to the engine while I was testing it I took ZERO chances in the corners I was iffy about and shifted at 7500 to 7800 rpm.

Not planning anything like this but have been entertaining the idea of getting a eg honda as a project to see how the other side lives (front wheel drive) lol. The cost of entry is so low it doesn't seem like a hassle to give it a shot. K swapped eg sounds like a good time but really gotta find an exhuast I like that's my only complaint with the Ks. They don't sound good imo.

As soon as it started raining 4:15 onwards (this track is notoriously treacherous in the rain) I wanted to drive this car all the time. It was just going around without even trying.

@@2THPWR I can see how FWD will be an advantage there. I know with FWD if you start loosing the rear sometimes you can just mat on the gas to straighten yourself out. That's a pretty nice pro right there.
