I just started playing and noticed yesterday that when I have on the fire sword in the mountains I won't get cold. This game is so crazy and the little details are so cool. Best purchase I ever made.
Same! This is the first game I've played in AGES where I find myself chatting with my husband about stuff I found. I didnt know you could ride a bear! Or a deer. Takes me back to the old days when friends would play a game then talk about all the cool stuff they found.

Also if you have a torch you can stay warm too. I usually do that for the one shrine in the mountain in the plateau.

The key to defeating guardians is to exploit their weakness: the eye. First, shoot the eye with a bow. While it’s stunned, attack as much as possible. If it has legs, attack those first. Once it is no longer stunned, shoot it again. Repeat this until you kill it, mess up, or run out of weapons.
Or send their lasers back at them using the your shield and a split second timing that your definitely going to fail a lot 💀

I gotta say, you are super super funny, amazing delivery, great voice, and so so so so much work gone into the video, editing, script - all in an easy to consume manner. I have to comment too. Super fun and funny video - i laughed alot! Your jokes and timing are amazingly entertaining! I've watched this several times and like it was said, you can tell the amount of work that went into this. Very sharp, witty, funny and all around great! The sexy voice and the heart-stopping, shocked, embarrassment and breathlessness with the fish guy prince (I haven't played it yet so I don't know who/what he is yet!) always makes me laugh.

The first time I played this game, for one of the first temples that you need the frost resitance for, I didn't know how to cook the meal to get that. So I didnt what any sensible person would do.. I powered my way through it. Literally. I saved every few steps, died over and over, and eventually reached the temple without any frost resitance :>

I have to say exactly the same thing! Not just a little bit funny, but actually makes me laugh out loud many, many times every time i watch it. Butterbuns u probably won't ever read this, but you have a real talent for witty jokes with just the right amount of sarcasm and funny self-burns and reflection. I enjoy the clever jokes and silliness, but also the serious review points and the bit about how the switch is much better than you thought too! I was in the same boat - wasn't sure whether to commit or not. I'm a nintendo gamer from the SNES, 64 and gamecube days but haven't owned a modern console in ~15+ years or so. You read all the reviews saying the PS5 and xbox are so much more powerful and have better graphics etc (which they are and do) but as one review of the switch said "you won't notice this because you'll be too busy having fun with the switch!" Very true haha. Having great fun with the OLED switch (even though i've really barely played it at all yet! Real life gets in the way u know :S) and it just feels so much more high tech than it actually is cos of how portable it is, and the switch remotes being 1-handed, small and detachable. Being able to prop the switch up sideways against a pillow in bed and lay down on ur side while using the controllers in your hands however u wanna put ur arms is just a clear unmatched advantage over the other consoles, and of course the nintendo-only games was my main draw. Anyways, hope that helps anyone on the fence about it. Take care everyone, and Butterbuns: hope you keep making content!

3:59 Funny story: When I first played this game, I was stupid and didn't see the chests right where you wake up that have Link's clothes, and consequently Link went through all of the initial trials in nothing but boxer shorts and I was wondering when he was gonna finally get some threads.

I didn't do this but I did accidentally miss the paraglider scene where Rhoam gives it to you so I spent 2 hours trying to get off the Great Plateau until I realized I could use the paraglider. Worst gaming moment I've ever went through. So embarrased

Kudos. You deserve the scale of your channel. Humour aside (and the tone is amazingly sharp and popping) the structure and use of time is perfect. Captures most aspects of the game without getting lost in the details. First gamer channel after Lowko I've ever subscribed to.
At the very beginning of the game when Link activates that one tower or whatever the very next thing I did was walk right off the edge and die. I learned two lessons that day.

Just did that tower without Revali's Gale last week, and i completely forgot about the wizrobes as i was gliding to the tower....didnt even touch the tower before i was shocked into oblivion
I like to get the towers surrounding the divine beast before actually doing the quest but that tower broke that streak lol. I got Revali’s gale first so I wouldn’t have to deal with it

For example, I'll get to a cluster of enemies and I'll keep dying very easily but then I'll try again, when what I should be doing is going somewhere else and getting stronger so that I can go back to those bad dudes and wreck em when I'm stronger.

a way to just outright block all damage doesn't mean you're not a pringle
it's honestly an issue i've got with the game: the way damage often is and the fact you need to 'find' four dungeons potentially do a puzzle to get in and do something after you enter to earn ONE heart - or just eat this easy to find radish
if you're gonna need to use a healing item to restore like 8 hearts every time you get hit anyway - why not choose the option without the 32 dungeon diving expeditions attached
I find it cathartic that a Kingdom Hearts fan and lore-lord took a look at the Zelda timeline and says "yeah, that's fucked".

@@TruzzleBruh the thing is the fortnite lore is actually pretty thought out not as much as the Zelda storyline by far but its able to connect together with less confusion at a cost of detail.

Same with other games like Splatoon, I would love to hear more context about certain things in that game, etc. Edit: I think the story of fortnite might be more thought out is because they’ve always been going for a completely different thing to what Zelda is
@@TruzzleBruh the fortnite storyline is fine especially seeing as it’s a battle royale game so the story is kinda in the background, Zelda is unlocked through memories in botw per say seeing as the game focuses on exploration so the story is something you find on your own pace.

i went headfirst into botw without knowing anything and as soon as i plucked multiple mushrooms besides a rock around the great plateau the stone talus rises up and as a person with anxiety i sWEAR I HAD AND ANXIETY ATTACK- so i hid behind a rock, crouching, for like 5 mins, scared for my life.
When I first ran into one, I ran away... *And was scared of rocks for the rest of the game*
