So in regards of the lady, her name is Alex Reade, she is the fourth in a line of lady keyboard/ambient players, first was Heather Menaglio from 2009 - 2011 she was in the OG 2 eps, then came Louisa Burton (my favorite era because of memories with friends) she was in Neverbloom (which catapulted them to the front of the scene) and Old Souls (my favorite by them) from 2011 - 2017, then came Booka Nile she was in Old Souls and How To Survive a Funeral from 2017 - 2022 and now its Alex´s time to shine and she has been in the last 2 singles, Doomswitch and Ghost of Me.
Alexa Reade was also once of the singers/screamers for Drown This City which disbanded.
Make Them Suffer has a HUGE list of Past members, the only two constants from the start to now is the vocalist Sean Harmanis and guitar player Nick McLernon.

I think they wanted to go heavy as fuck ...not only heavy but intense, and with a very clear direction to make you feel certain emotion(s). Great !
Def one of my fav bands. You really need to check out their album Worlds Apart even if on your own time. I would love to hear your opinion on that album cause to me it is fantastic from start to finish.

Honestly, when they went with that clean chorus (and I don't like his 'worse Invent Animate' cleans as is), I was like.. ok, let's get back to the heavy.
Maybe cut out all this 'Brand of Sacrifice trying to be Skrillex' electronica while you're at it.
Nope.
Goes to an overly affected clean section (and those other reactor thumbnails are leaning HARD into the cleavage, so there's the male fanbase 🤷).
Great.
And then a section best described as 'headaches for dogs'. My god, the droning 'me' and those higher notes he tries to hit.. I have to turn it down.

The last time I listened to this 'tits for metal TikTok' I told myself that was the last time.
I clicked on this for you guys, cause I think you're a great metal channel.
Honestly, I find this shit just as grating as Brand of Sacrifice and the new Humanity's Last Breath.
Labyrinthian was great, and then they had to release the monotony of instill.
