He sang this with so much Passion because his Dad passed away in 2021. This was his tribute to his Dad. James wrote this when his Dad was dying. His Dad actually recieved a Kidney after James recorded his song thankfully. Very emotional song.

If only you could watch james blunt’s MV on this song. He featured his dad on the video. This song is written for his dad who is battling cancer at the time. He didn’t expect his father would still be around when he release the mv. So je get his dad to join him in front of the camera. It’s a beautiful scene. I miss my dad 😢😢
