I see flowers on my passion fruit, and then the next day, it disappeared, or it closed by itself and died.😢
You're welcome. I hand-pollinate in spring until I see plenty of bees around to do the job. It always seems like they sleep in until summer these past couple of years.
I pluck an anther but I won't pollinate that flower with it. I use it to pollinate another flower(s). I'll swap between different flowers. Taking off an anther helps me keep track of flowers that have been pollinated. Sometimes there are too many to keep track of so a missing anther helps visually.

Can you use the purple to pollinate the yellow?
Yes. My purples are self- fertile, but some varieties need a second cultivar for pollination in order to make fruit.

The purple will pollinate the yellow.
Also, a genetically different yellow should do the trick. I hope this helps; I just had a total hip replacement so I have a fuzzy brain right now 😆.
