I thought I’d comment on your 13 year old post here by reminding you that Obama’s mother is whiter than the winter snow. A Dunham. His Grandma, contrary to popular belief, was a deep state asset during WW2, handling black budget funds between the US and nations of the Pacific theatre, including Indonesia. It was his grandma who introduced his mother, Ann, to the CIA point man in Indonesia, Lolo Soetoro. Lolo married Ann shortly after Barack Obama Sr. left him and his mom to attend grad school at Harvard. While his birth certificate reads, “Barack Obama” he never went by that name until he got into politics. Lolo legally adopted Barack upon his marriage to Ann, at which time his name was changed to Barry Soetoro. In any case, if you still don’t know after all these years, the reason Barack has European features is because he is, well, European. As an aside, if you’ve ever wondered how Obama came to have a net worth of nearly half a billion dollars, just a year out of office, it’s not because of corruption; an abuse of power. It’s because Lolo was the executive Vice President of Standard Oil. When he died he was one of the top 20 richest men in the world. Obama is 1/3rd heir to that fortune, which had been held in trust in Indonesia for many years. And do you want to know who got Lolo into the oil business? George HW Bush. Another prominent figure in US deep state operations. Shit. He was the Director of the CIA before he become President. The world is MUCH smaller than you likely know.

There is plenty of evidence out there that suggests that "enhanced interrogation techniques" do not actually help us get information. When you are torturing someone, chances are they'll just lie to make the pain stop. Torture is absolutely immoral & does not help keep us safe.
@omahaboy72 You seem like a nice person - maybe we need to resume space exploration. It could help the economy. I like the idea of getting the Isrealis to join the USA - but they're feisty & independent. They're a good Ally - I'd hate to have them as a foe. Plus they're Jewish & probably have family in the USA.
The deficit (not the debt) is large, although the bulk of it is the bank bailout and stimulus. The concern now is that Obama's financial austerity moves - farm subsidy cuts, cap-and-trade revenues, higher top income taxes and lower Iraq spending only lower the deficit til 2013 - then no improvement. He's taken some political risk to cut the deficit, so I'll give him time to make more moves post-recession. He can't do much without knowing his position - hard to pass 2 more rounds of austerity.
@liljgliss well....ummmm.....it's a video of Prez Obama, so probably people have heated political discussions because of the POLITICAL ASPECT OF THE VIDEO'S SUBJECT. On the other hand, if this video was about - for example - Tortoises and Turtles, it would attract the attention of people interested in tortoises & turtles. Perhaps there would be heated debates about tortoises & turtles? The Political debate you reference is due to the nature of this video's subject.
I like history, but Stalin liked FDR because of WWII. He might have respected FDR as less far right - but FDR was a liberal capitalist. FDR was also a fighter against activist judges - something you GOPers might appreciate. Judicial activism back than was often on the right - witness the way minimum wage laws were struck down despite no mention of the Constitution enforcing one kind of economic system.
you know your right about the late thing. A lot of blacks don't have a good since of time. However, some blacks do which can over shadow the ones that do.( By the way I'm black) Nevertheless, keeping it realy is keeping it real.
You missed the point. I want the same access to be allowed to anybody that can demonstrate sanity. The opportunity to demonstrate sanity is not being afforded many vets. If they were a witness to something horrific, it is often simply assumed that they have become mentally unstable as a result.
when the wealth "trickles down" what essential occurs is immense government spending which provokes a larger "recession like" feeling into the minds of the average american, who will then scrimp more then once before, in which will cause a larger decline in the nations economy. Isn't it a great plan!
@TheTrueOregon To conclude: The situation w/the Japanese was concluded - Japan was conquered/stopped (as was Germany, Italy). The USA, however, forgave Japan and Japan forgave the USA. This shows - on a very large scale - it's better & more productive to forgive & move on. Obviously, it's not easy to forgive attrocities - but when Nations/people have continuous, festering hatred & violence, the Tragedy never ends.
It's real money. The gold standard is from the days when people thought money had to be made of materials that were worth something. Money's useful as providing a liquid exchange item and that's true under gold standard or no gold standard. It's not just me - no one uses the gold standard anymore. Take economics 101 and read about the money supply. Money is fine made of paper or cheap metals. The gold standard was ultimately not useful.
@sketchyinc The presidency I'm sure is very difficult. I'm sure all Presidents & Ex Presidents can relate to the difficulties they endure. But nothing (any of the Presidents you mentioned) did was petty. Life in the USA for average american citizens is tough, we seem to be in a Depression (vs. on-going Recession) and many people are in dire straights financially. There are very few Jobs. So nothing any intelligent President might discuss is 'small or petty'. Life is rather serious now.
SO would you say assuring women get equal pay for equal work is negative then? The truth is that we are in tough times. Not much progress can be made until we stabilize the economy.
Obama's obviously very intelligent, but B.Clinton was a NATURAL: a genuis in communications, Bill connected w/all people - except the Repubs. The Repubs never got the better of Bill, however, and he never backed down. I wonder if any of our recent politicians have been genuine or honest?
He hasn't made up his mind on Guantanamo - what's wrong with that? I prefer someone in charge who will carefully think through a potential solution instead of plunging headlong into a mess a la Bush. He has been decisive on many things, but considers things carefully first. This is his best quality, the one that most recommends him to me as a leader. He explained in a lucid, intelligent manner the difficulties with Guantanamo Bay.
@spector1991 No the American people simply didn't realize Carter was a decent man with a Bigger perspective. History may not rate him as a terrific President, but he is true Humanitarian - not just a 'talker', and has Character, Integrity, Compassion. Maybe we need a President with these qualities, Character & Integrity, RIGHT NOW. Our present Politicians and Biz Leaders (is Biz Leader an oxymoron?) seem to lack ANY knowledge of Character & Integrity. Carter is a successful Human Being: rare.
Those comments, well, didn't actually happen. He said the Bush administration was arrogant many times. Personally I think Bush hurt the US by giving Al Qaeda 'US torture' recruitment ads and committed a great wrong. However, that's at least conceivably subjective; Obama never said the US is arrogant and ignorant so that is objectively false. There is no article or interview where Obama says 'America is arrogant/ignorant.'
many more.....I dont think it is sensible to give deadlines to CEO of corporate (GM) to achieve target/step down for a president. How about pleasing the states (Arabs/Muslims) instead of taking appropriate actions to mend the relationships.( Hope u have seen how he greeted a saudi). How about his stand on abortion ?. I am not talking here right or wrong, but his ability to defend his actions.
@myf0lk I have to question, were you being sarcastic when you wrote "nothing catastrophic is happening to America, we're still the same spoiled country we were before"??? You must not be facing any big financial problems, perhaps you have a FANTASTIC job, perhaps RAMPANT Unemployment is not affecting your community...Hey, Congratulations! Odd, things are a bit more difficult in my part of the Country. And what gives you the right to STATE the USA is a "spoiled country"? BTW, I'm a Democrat.
Of course the fiot money is worth somthing as long as the people in charge say it's worth somthing. But it is backed by nothing and is only worth somthing as long as they say it is. You can't inflate or deflate with money thats actually backed by somthing. Thats why the American dollar is worth shit these days. Thats why the dollar will collapse sooner or later. Yeah I suppose you are right about the "liquid exchange" and it's economics 101 taught in school(s) which is part of the problem.
What a misleading title! I expect the AP to do better than to mistitle things with clickbaity motives. Just be straightforward and say that this is mostly about the prison-camp at Guantanamo Bay-or keep the title, cut off most of the video, and leave us with twenty seconds ending in the earth-shattering "I think a general policy of keeping confidence with predecessors is important."
@Zailen1 Osama (if there REALLY was an Osama......) is now almost a non-event, given that the USA is nearly bankrupt; and many American citizens can't find viable employment.......really, I couldn't care less about Osama. The US should probably be more concerned that the Chinese may soon REPO all the US property they own & then cut off our credit!
Not normally sensible but the CEO was incompetent - most business observers were surprised he lasted as long as he did. It's Obama's right as the head of the creditor/stockholding body to name his terms - lending money at low rates (=subsidies) means he should make sure the company's spending it wisely.
@TheTrueOregon The Japanese are now our Friends & Allies, which is a great thing - we forgave them (& significantly, Japan forgave the US for Hiroshima & Nagasaki). But the MAGNITUDE of the atrocity they perpetrated in WW2 at Pearl Harbor was so grave, that - after the US & Allies won WW2 - the US & Allies mandated that Japan was unable to have a military. Period. That's why they honed their financial strength so keenly/intensely after WW2; Japan had no options militarily.
why do people come to these videos to have heated political debates? if u have all the right answers for everything then why didnt YOU run for president?

YOU are clueless!! czcams.com/video/omKsMRSp404/video.htmlsi=ucDmACMtk0H47LDI
@spector1991 Carter only had one term to mess things up, and Bush had two and he couldn't manage to fix things up by the end.
Real intelligent post.
[/sarcasm]
Actually, Congressional elections are in 2010.
YES!
Sure seems like Obama hasn't left that chair in 4 years.
Make it 8 bud lol
The deficit (not the debt) is large, although the bulk of it is the bank bailout and stimulus. The concern now is that Obama's financial austerity moves - farm subsidy cuts, cap-and-trade revenues, higher top income taxes and lower Iraq spending only lower the deficit til 2013 - then no improvement.
He's taken some political risk to cut the deficit, so I'll give him time to make more moves post-recession. He can't do much without knowing his position - hard to pass 2 more rounds of austerity.
What?
He hasn't actually stepped up printing money at all yet. And the gold standard was outdated - kept people from flexibly regulating the money supply.
President Obama is right here.
LOLZ!
I think the wart was a dead give away.
I disagree, but I do approve of your taste in literature.
Mhm
I like history, but Stalin liked FDR because of WWII. He might have respected FDR as less far right - but FDR was a liberal capitalist. FDR was also a fighter against activist judges - something you GOPers might appreciate. Judicial activism back than was often on the right - witness the way minimum wage laws were struck down despite no mention of the Constitution enforcing one kind of economic system.
o you guys have kings & queens lmao.
you know your right about the late thing. A lot of blacks don't have a good since of time. However, some blacks do which can over shadow the ones that do.( By the way I'm black) Nevertheless, keeping it realy is keeping it real.

is Obama stoned?
Smoked crack. Probably with Hunter Biden 😂😂

You missed the point. I want the same access to be allowed to anybody that can demonstrate sanity. The opportunity to demonstrate sanity is not being afforded many vets. If they were a witness to something horrific, it is often simply assumed that they have become mentally unstable as a result.
@k3304 lol how can you be against General Petraeus!? That man has only done good.
That would be correct.
when the wealth "trickles down" what essential occurs is immense government spending which provokes a larger "recession like" feeling into the minds of the average american, who will then scrimp more then once before, in which will cause a larger decline in the nations economy.
They grew up together.
They are family do the research
@MotorsbyShooter Oh so you shoot through their holy book as the ultimate sign of disrespect, but you're fond of them?
@MotorsbyShooter You hate them because you assume they're dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat. Pretty close to the definition of fear.
and now its over 12 trillion =)
Obama's obviously very intelligent, but B.Clinton was a NATURAL: a genuis in communications, Bill connected w/all people - except the Repubs. The Repubs never got the better of Bill, however, and he never backed down. I wonder if any of our recent politicians have been genuine or honest?
@Wolfovicz thats a total oxymoron
You must be really annoyed. Preferring a pres who thinks and being so wrong. I hope you have had a change of heart. Tbh he fooled me too!
Ok???
im pretty sure he sleeps over 8 hours...
lol i put on my waders every time cause i know the shit is going to get deep
I assume you're talking about Bush here.
Carter is a successful Human Being: rare.
to that effect name ONE president besides Washington who didn't inherent something from the previous? ONE.
@utubesuperstation Funny!
They are cousins after all
Those comments, well,didn't actually happen.
I have
-..... and ? Lol
many more.....I dont think it is sensible to give deadlines to CEO of corporate (GM) to achieve target/step down for a president. How about pleasing the states (Arabs/Muslims) instead of taking appropriate actions to mend the relationships.( Hope u have seen how he greeted a saudi). How about his stand on abortion ?. I am not talking here right or wrong, but his ability to defend his actions.
0:30 WTF?
@myf0lk I have to question, were you being sarcastic when you wrote "nothing catastrophic is happening to America, we're still the same spoiled country we were before"??? You must not be facing any big financial problems, perhaps you have a FANTASTIC job, perhaps RAMPANT Unemployment is not affecting your community...Hey, Congratulations! Odd, things are a bit more difficult in my part of the Country. And what gives you the right to STATE the USA is a "spoiled country"? BTW, I'm a Democrat.
Oops thought is said Princess Obama. Ha Ha Ha Oh well.
Period. That's why they honed their financial strength so keenly/intensely after WW2; Japan had no options militarily.
i didn't say anything about mccain. and no, i don't.. we didn't have any good candidates in this election.
So he has known the Bush family most of his life? Daaaang
why do people come to these videos to have heated political debates? if u have all the right answers for everything then why didnt YOU run for president?
