Based on what we have seen so far with manga chapter 29 I think Toyotaro is only going to get better at this point. The story writing was logical, things were well explained, the direction he took was very entertaining thanks to him most of the Gods feel like individuals and not just spectators full of exposition and we all know Toyotaro's artwork is on point. We are probably in for a treat with his continued adaptation of the universal survival arc because he can look at all the criticism of anime's adaption and with Toriyama's guidance really make the manga's version a lot better. I can't wait to see how he handles Jiren, the universe 6 saiyans, Frieza and Gohan.

This is very interesting material. That probably means the time limit was created by them as well so that Zamazu could still be killed by Zeno. I hate the time limit, but Vegito Blue was an amazing addition. Also explains the time travel mishaps in both versions. Seriously Toei going back and forth 3 times was stupid!

While I can see his contributions in the manga more clearly now, I don't think we can say he is more involved in the manga than in the anime since thay don't really talk about it here that is unless there is an interview where they talk about the specifics and I'm just forgetting. As for DB canon, I think this is one where you just chose which one you like best and make your own headcanon.

Well this is a nice clear up of things. I still like the fact that Vegito was in this along with Zamasu being more powerful. Though I still can't really say whether I like the anime's version of the Black/Trunks arc more or the manga's. I don't know, maybe it's just me but I personally like the fact that Vegeta got the initial God form. My only thing about it is I wish we got to see him do it originally and know beforehand that he could do it but yeah. I like the thing Vegeta has with it where he switched between God and Blue quickly VS Black. Frankly I feel that I like the idea of Completed/Mastered SSB more than SSBK too tbh. I think for me, I like a lot of Toyo's implemented ideas here and there but not every single especially in terms of story which is a different story. The Trunks being a Kai or Kai apprentice one, eeeh. I was so-so about that tbh. I can say that it seemed randomly implemented.

Considering SSJ2 Caulifa didn't accomplish much until the tournament. It's possible she'll still get it anyway but not so quickly. Probably moved to some point during the tournament.

When Toriyama said that Toyotaru said that they need to bring back Vegito we get a confirmation that Toyotaru is higher up in contact with Toriyama, not that they are equal.
Process, as I have always said, goes Toriyama writes a outline and gives to Toei and Toyotaro. They read it. Toyotaro then comes back and talks to Toriyama and makes suggestions. Toei does this kinda too, but generally not as much. Toriyama and Toyotaro creates a more detailed outline of whats going to happen. This then gets sent to Toei to create the anime while Toyotaro works on the manga, getting more regular input from Toriyama, probably page by page as he finishes them where as Toriyama has less input on the anime simply due to it takes a so much time to produce and such a larger team. He probably sees it as it comes out and makes comments, but once he sees it there is nothing he can do but make suggestions for future episodes.
This is why I maintain the Manga IS canon and the Anime isn't. The Manga is clearly being produced with as close to the same involvment that Toriyama wants to have on it as though he were drawing and writing it all himself.

I mean who didn't know Vegito blue was a fan service? Vegito blue makes absolutely no sense and shouldn't be used at all because he *technically* should be able to handle ANY villain. My interpretation, Vegito is Goku TIMES vegeta which is UTTER overkill. Vegito either deserved to be nerfed or shouldn't be used AT ALL until they ABSOLUTELY HAVE no other choice. Gogeta seems more logical in 99% of situations.
They should have used Gogeta, and maybe even have Trunks fight zamasu alone once the firts fusion dance fails and they have to protect Veku too.

About to blow your mind with this one. Vegeta had Ultra Instinct before Goku. One Vegeta was not surprised when Goku achieve Ultra and State Farm instead inquired about it wanting to know more. Almost as if he seen the form before but wasn't sure what it was it was hoping Goku at answers. Too when he broke out the mafuba if you freeze frame it he has the same Aura as Altra Instinct Goku around his body inside of the blue. 3 when Frost shot that last item before he got sucked into the mafuba he was not paying attention and his arm and just disarm moved on its own and blocked it. He also stated like you said before geekdom my body moved on my own when he was fighting rebrana . It almost in Plies in hyperbolic Time Chamber but wasn't sure what it was so when he saw Goku a chief same for he was curious if he knew what it was. And since nobody knows or saw what happened in the hyperbolic Time Chamber it is a possibility. And it has whis and beerus stated in the most recent episode after achieving that state the body retains some of its abilities which explains the cheetahs ability to flock boobs without looking and question why is his body moving on its own still. uhh no, blame Toei for anything you don't like about the anime. The manga is written by Toyotaro and heavily reviewed by Toriyama, so the manga is more accurate.

Chad Preston The manga has way less plot holes. In the fight between Goku vs Hit, it actually explained why Hit puts his hands in his pockets - because his hands twitch before using the time skip. That is the real reason how Goku managed to counter it. In the anime, they didn't reveal this fact until Dyspo fought Hit where he used his ears to hear the vibrations of those twitches. Goku used SSG in the manga to conserve stamina, no Kaioken stacking. In the anime, Goku suddenly uses SSG in the Tournament of Power without any explanation of why he didn't use it before. There are just so many more inconsistencies in the anime, especially in the Zamasu arc. If you watch the manga in color on youtube with music, it's amazing.

Before the tournament you could argue that goku didn’t even need ssg and the hit thing really isn’t that big of a deal, goku say vegeta’s fight and that was enough of an explanation for most
Chad Preston Those aren't minor points LOL. Having those explanations completely explains how Hit's ability works and those points were what Toriyama wanted. They weren't "shoehorned". The anime added it in because it fixed mistakes that they realized later. If they didn't add it in, then they would have been fucked later. These are just some examples. There are several several more especially in the Zamasu arc. Watch any fight in the manga, Goku vs Hit, Goku/Vegeta vs Zamasu/Merged, and it's always better. The decisions each character makes, the movements and choreography are better executed. There's no Mary Sue Trunks pulling off a Genki Dama or Mafuba. There's no going back to the future 3 times. Anyone who actually followed DB and DBZ, will appreciate these "minor" points which make a better story.
