- Part 16 of a 100% walkthrough for Banjo-Tooie (Xbox Live Arcade version). This is part 1 of Cloud Cuckooland. The worlds are large in Banjo-Tooie so I'll be breaking up most of them into two videos. This will be a 100% walkthrough showing the location all jiggies, music notes, homeycomb pieces, jinjos, glowbos, cheato pages, etc. I'll try to include time stamps for all notable events and collectibles in this video.

Mingy Jongo was a brilliant boss. Who else was scared af when he first busted out.
I always skipped this boss when I was a kid... he scared me.
Lol I had a weird introduction to him because I played Banjo Pilot first over any other Banjo-Kazooie game and seeing his icon in the game, he looked like a screaming rabbit 😂
I've heard the way Mingy Jongo teleports around is similar to Dracula in one of the Castlevania games. And he himself is a reference to Terminator as well because he is a robot just like in the movies.
This was always my favorite world. I loved how zany and random it was. The only bad part was racing Canary Mary.
TheStubbzy yep your right, it’s so interesting! There is a giant trash can, a piece of cheese, and also evil mumbo jumbo. Still, screw the canary Mary race.

I think they fixed the issue with the Canary Mary race in the 360 version and the Rare Collection too. Now you can beat her without a turbo controller.

The canary was what prevented me from getting all Jiggies.
Watching George the Ice block get only 10 seconds of intro only to be mercilessly killed off for the purposes of getting Jiggies is just a little bit heartbreaking.

I’m watching the Lego Movie and as soon as I heard the wizard (played by Morgan Freeman) say “Cloud Cuckooland” I paused and remembered this level. I now know what the reference means. Good stuff! I’m 28 years old and I never understood the meaning. I just thought it was a cool name for a level that was so bizarre but interesting.
Lol how could I forget the one dimensional creatures with the sausages!?
This world was cool. I found getting in the Zubba Nest was a bit hard though. Shooting that target 20 times in 10 seconds is harder than it might look at first.
God this game is so freakin' amazing! The amount of sound effects even from just switching eggs is awesome! It's "Rare" for a sequel to be just as good as its predecessor. I still to this day don't know which game I like better...both are just so clever

There are two Mumbo Jumbo, one real, one fake. If one of the two is fake, then the jinjo is real, if the other one is real, then it's a minjo. This has to be a connection.

Bee transformation is so cool, it's the only transformation to appear in both Banjo Kazooie and Tooie!

Nah… it’s full transformation can be unlocked if you best bottles secret puzzle game in banjos house by looking at the picture of bottles after getting the sand castle jiggy in treasure trove cove.
Just imagine banjo from a third person view piecing these puzzles together:

yeah that race is needlessly hard. No matter what I do, she just says "too slow" and ends the race. I'm giving up on getting 100% on this game.

I think you have to stay behind her the whole time then speed up right at the end
I just pause the game when I get tired then I start again that's how I won.
lilrush151 In all seriousness, I once heard that the only guaranteed way to win the race is to get a special controller (which was available at the time of Tooie’s original release, I think - not sure about now), the type that allows you to have automatic nonstop rapidfire.

Actually, they're both references to the phrase "Cloud Cuckoo Land" which is a made-up world where everything is unrealistically perfect. It's used mainly as an insult towards naive people who usually think the impossible could happen, whom are called "cloud cuckoo landers".
@@Wahaller Yeah after all this time I figured as much. Still, I found it really interesting it’s just so good and alluring I wonder if they knew. Anyway, these days I daydream every day, so you could say I’m in Cloud Cuckooland every day. Unlike Batman I love Cloud Cuckoo Land in The Lego Movie and Banjo Tooie because I feel you can make it however you want. In my mind this isn’t really true but I would like to think Cloud Cuckoo Land is a creative source where everything else comes from, real or not real, in terms of creation. LOG and Markus Jolly may say otherwise since they made it but I’m talking about elsewhere especially in terms of real life or something or imagination.
off topic about the game, but when i was a preteen, right when Jiggywiggy made his crystal jiggy open a level, i'd put on a Jay-Z rap and imagined him instead saying, "Behold the power of the mighty JIGGAMAN!" and i even pretended Jiggies were called Jiggas.

Note: it's virtually impossible to shoot the target with the "superbanjo" chest activated as you get there too fast

I can’t remember if this actually happened or if I dreamt it but whenever Banjo falls into the land below cloud cuckoo land, is it’s the same as dying or does he falls back into the main area. Then again there was a time where I thought if you scaled the mountain you could reach this area but Game FAQ disproved that. I still wish I knew where that idea came from though...
This is such an odd level, gives me an empty , nostalgic, eerie feeling.

I could never beat this level as a kid. Mainly because, the Eyeballus Jiggum Plants terrified me as a kid. Fuck those plants!

I really thought it could only be the blue one, cause the bad one has been the blue one in all of my playthroughs, and i’ve completed this game four times!
The assignment is random. I've seen it suggested that the first Mumbo Skull you enter will place Mingy there, but I'm not sure how accurate that is for it to be a rule
I think Banjo and Kazooie should meet some new characters other outside of their game like someone from Oblivion or Skyrim or even Dragon Age

I was never too sure. Some commenters said that Mingy Jongo shows up in whichever Mumbo House you enter first.
It makes more sense that way too, because the element of surprise would be lost if players found the correct Mumbo House
@@Joe_Parmesan No I was right...I played both versions on the 64 version Mumbo's house is red and the fake one is the blue one, but on the Xbox live version is the other way around.

I'm having trouble finding the mumbo pad.
For anyone doing this on the Xbox One I found sliding my finger back and fourth across the X button as fast as I could the best way to beat Canary Mary. Might take a few goes but seems to do better than mashing the button

I think the one you're talking about was at 28:03.
This move is called Leg Spring. To find it, head to Floor 2 of Grunty's Industries. Split up, find a pair of Claw Clamber Boots and use them on the wallprints in the large toxic room. Follow the path, and there you go. Be sure you have 545 notes beforehand!

Night Sky well it has the hardest jiggy in the game, has a shit layout, and easy boss fight so it is the worst world.
The world was just too barren in my opinion. There's no point in having such a massive stage if there's not a lot of stuff do.
