For those who think they can not afford to save even 5%, I suggest you consider 1%, it should not hurt and then in 3-6 month up the amount to 2%, once you have adjusted to that then in 3-6 month go to 3% and keep going until you get to 10-20%. As you find new ways to save, spend less, this will insure your savings increase to represent that amount. Mark each 3-6 month increment on a calendar so you do not forget to make the change upward. Work for me, hope it works for you.

Once you get into debt, it can take years and even decades to get out of it. Don't use credit cards unless you have to for an emergency. Have an emergency fund always. It's better to do without some luxuries than to be in debt. All it takes is an illness, accident, job loss, or recession to get into debt. Debt destroys your life.

Using credit cards for emergencies is stupid. You're supposed to make purchases with credit cards and pay the full balance every month. AKA, DON'T SPEND WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE

I have stopped cooking pasta in a pan. I heat the same amount of water in a frying pan. More surface exposed to heat and quicker heating time. Always always use a lid. Put the salt in after the water starts simmering. No need for a rolling boil. The salt delays the water reaching boiling point. Tons of tiny things that all add up.

What?!? I was told adding salt to your water will help it reach boiling point faster😮

    • @xXJesuslovesyouXx
      @xXJesuslovesyouXx Před 3 měsíci

I googled it: In terms of cooking, most individuals normally add about a teaspoon (3g) of salt per liter of water. Adding this small amount of salt will “technically” make the water boil faster, however, it would only result in a difference no more than a few seconds.

Bear in mind that if you are using a bigger ring for your fying pan then you're drawing more current while it's on than a saucepan would on a smaller ring.
My top tip is to turn the ring right the way off once the pasta is boiling. If the lid is on the water will stay hot enough to cook the pasta through.

If you can Breast Feed ( it's free) if you can't BF with the baby attached, then use a breast pump and feed the baby that way.. Also as suggested above, there are plenty of schemes and help for new mums. Make sure have everything filled in before the baby comes. Ps. The baby doesn't need fancy and brand new clothes for the first 3 months. Hand me downs ( good condition) is fine. The baby will just want to be warmed and loved and feed and with mum. Second hand or hand me downs ( in good condition is fine).

I've come to realize that the key to amassing wealth lies in making sound investments. I purchased my first home at the age of 21 for $87,000 and sold it for $197,000. My second home, acquired for $170,000, was later sold for $320,000, and my third property, purchased at $300,000, fetched $589,000, with buyers covering all closing costs and expenses. Not reaching a million before retirement feels like an unfulfilled goal..

I've been doing this and more for years! I don't even own a t.v. I HAVE to cook everything myself, due to severe food allergies. My phone bill is as cheap as they come. I haven't bought a new stitch of clothing in more than 5 years. I have absolutely no subscriptions, no gym membership, etc. I don't drink alcohol, because my father is an alcoholic and my mother is allergic. My rent is the lowest I could find in the area. I haven't bought anything online since my wedding 15 years ago, which we did NOT go into debt for. I, carefully, use the cash back apps for groceries and gas. And I ran my last car into the ground, currently using every last bit of my current one up as well!
So, no actual tips for the actual poor here either! I need something more for the poor, not affluent spoiled brats wasting money and whining about "the shoe I wanted was on sale for $100.00, but wasn't in my size! Why me!?!"

Can you lower your heat/ cooling or electricity. Save every receipt for a month. See what you spent money on. I'm living on less than 800 a month.

If you have the money to pay it off then you don't need a credit card

Great way of building a credit score though if you pay it back in full each month...

This video is so out of touch. We are living in a time where these budgeting and saving tips no longer apply. The goal is to be able to literally stay alive. Maintain some kind of shelter, heat that shelter, have enough to eat. Try to stay healthy enough to avoid the hospital. But how do you do that when you're killing yourself trying to do all the other stuff while making some rich guy even richer?

Thanks for watching and for your comment. It’s important to remember that every single person watching is in a different situation to the next person. It’s not a one shoe fits all approach and therefore the tips which might not suit someone, will suit someone else. There are hundreds of videos here to try and help people with all different budgets and positions, sorry if you didn’t find this helpful and wishing you a warm and happy Christmas xx

Hahaha ... jumping on a bike.. free enterteinment... after 1250 km it is still 60€/h ... but that being said, the cost should come down to 5.6€/h or 0.18€/km in the next 5 years

Spend, spend, spend.the more I spend the more I make. When my dollars are worth more than the face value. I buy gas in bulk, which cost less.

From my perspective - if one is in DEBT, THERE IS NO eating out, drinks after work, NO NOTHING. Owing money CAUSES DEPRESSION!!
