Matt and Andy are hilarious together but I also think that Matt has made some fantastic videos by himself, great job Matt 💕
Seeing the pic got my hopes up that Andy had returned, however, they were quickly deflated when I realized it was an older video recorded earlier in may of 2023. Still looking forward to seeing it though and of course still supporting the channel and Matt. You are doing a phenomenal job. Your hard work is appreciated and I have really enjoyed your recent adventures.
I really hate to hear that, but in the back of my mind I expected it. Andy has been completely silent since he left. No explanation and no good bye video. Just silence. A lot of questions left unanswered. He has stated in the past that he loved the channel and then just disappeared. I will miss him and wish him well, but I have to give Matt a lot of credit for picking up and moving forward and growing the channel.
@@kendrawilson221 Wouldn't shock me Matt held back anger was from It being hard to get Andy to join on video?. There three videos where It clear Andy pretty much "Why I'm even here...". I actually like Matt's solo videos a lot more.

Matt you are and have been doing an amazing job, keeping the channel going. As well as making it better while Andy has been absent. However, as soon as I saw you and Andy, together in the video I just felt myself filling up. I so miss the chemistry and the banter between you both. My first video on this channel was when Matt went with Bear in to some soldier house (with uniforms) and so i decided to continue watching the rest videos. I must say that I really really enjoyed all videos with Matt and Andy on this channel and would be great to hear that Andy is back for good (even once a month) but I must say that Matt is doing a great job on his solo trips as well. He was never coming back every body wat started the channel has left matt don't think he's been honest from the start but the looks of things as people ask about wat was happening about Andy and Matt would change the subject fast with out Andy it's not the same but I don't blame him for leaving as having a full time job and working on the channel was to much for him and don't think he was getting alot for it back for the hard work its Matt's channel the channel is doing well with just Matt and do wish him well in 2024

The wine room dining room…. When we were abroad we booked a room like that where there was private dining in the room with all the wine / champagne bottles all around you and you had your own waiter look after you… it was amazing

We had the goodbye video when Matt arranged for Andy to meet Caspersight. It was a lovely way to finish in hindsight. I thought it would be strange to see Andy again with Matt but it wasn't. The problem with the world today is that we can start seeing someone from 5000 miles away regularly on CZcams and they become familiar. As a kind of family. And when they go suddenly, whether it be by choice or accident it’s very much like any other loss. It’s natural to grieve.
I’m just writing this out loud in case anyone else (like me) has called themselves silly and absurd for having big feelings over not seeing Andy in the videos anymore. He is part of the “family” created here. In this world of easy connection over long distances, & conversely such deep disconnect with more local communities, it’s just natural.
I’m watching this after the New Year Announcement video, so it’s weighing on my mind.
