- Oldfrostig had a great time at Comic-con in Birmingham and can’t wait to get back next year. Thanks to all those that went and made it such an enjoyable event. We really enjoyed chatting with you and have photos taken. A special thanks to all those that gave us a wave. Hopefully we will see you all again next year.

Hi I was there at the comic con on Sunday and Saturday but on Friday and Thursday just relaxed in Birmingham I was dressed as a purple black Alice for the first day and the 2nd pikatchue

I was there and it was an absolute amazing time I went with my partner and I have the best time there and has to have been the best event I went to especially for my first comic con

I was there! When did the false alarm happen? We were there yesterday but must have been outside the venue already when this happened. Glad you had a great time regardless!
It was at 11.35am. An announcement was made that everyone had to leave the building and we were instructed to head to the nearest exit which may not be the same place as where we came in. Everyone calmly started heading to the exits (with the exception of the stall holders) and then there was another announcement shortly after saying we didn’t have to leave. I have no idea what the reason was for the false alarm or if it was a drill but there was no harm done. It certainly didn’t spoil our fun.
@Old Frostig we didn't even hear the alarm! Loads of us lining up, I was waiting fpr luci Christian to turn up and when the false alarm announcements came we were all incredibly confused cuz we didn't hear the first one lol

@@atomicfallout67minis I had a look at a few of the stalls but was mainly soaking up the atmosphere. Would rather save my money for next year than spend a fortune while there

@@oldfrostig I did the only thing I did not enjoy was almost everywhere that had refreshments was credit card only
@@thesodorengines that’s not good but unfortunately cashless is becoming more common. It’s really helpful you mentioned this as someone asked me outside the venue if I knew if they accepted cash as when they were at the Excel it was card only. I said I didn’t know but assumed cash would be fine. I now know I was wrong and it’s certainly something I will remember for the future. We have just booked Mega-con for March.
@@oldfrostig I absolutely hate this cashless nonsense myself and just a heads up don't make the same mistake I did I put £2 coins in a vending machine that had no indication it was a credit card only and wouldn't give back my coins
