7:14 he was actually just a homeless dude and so was never credited since they never got his name 8:10 that is what breen used to be known as the "consul" is what he was called and that alien form is what he transforms into near the end of the game like the theory that he turns into an advisor or smth in retail hl2 9:40 this is what raising the bar redux got most of its assets from you should definitely play it it 1:1 creates most of these environments extremely well. Also a couple random beta facts ik of the top of my head klieners old model (shown at 7:20) was reused as a hostage in CS:S and he used to be called DR. Cohrt. Eli wasn't originally alyx's farther and her farther was known as "Captain Vance" and Eli was called Eli Maxwell. His base before is became black mesa east was known as "Elis Den" With Dog, Skitch and ofc Alyx. Great book though there was a handful of images i had never seen though most of them i had since i scoured the internet for every crumb of half life 2 beta content, I would love more unboxings like this!

I got so lucky! I recommend eBay because people will put them up for auction every now and then, you might be able to get a good price!

I'm a huge Half Life 2 fan. In fact Half Life 2 is my favorite game of all time and i sincerely think Half Life 2 is the best game ever!
I would really be happy if i owned this book. I found one but it's 350 dollars. It's too expensive sadly.

I got this book brand new for my birthday sometime around 2009 or 2010 I think. I loved hl2 this book is amazing. I found out my family got it new for around $50
Crazy to think how much a used copy is, let alone a new one
