    4:45 Ryu's crazy traditional backhand killed wang's modern backhand surprisingly.

  • @enflans
    @enflans Před 12 lety +7

    4:46 is amazing!!! ryu seung min is amazing to be at his level against world class players with a disadvantaged backhand which all the players take advantage of, makes me wonder how much harder he would've had to work for it

    Bad quality of the video image, but the quality of the players... it's out of this world. And apart from that it is very interesting to see two penholders with very different styles... Both great of course. Models for their own techniques and styles...

      @CosmosZeroX Před 9 lety +3

      hunkeelin how do you mean that? I dont think the coach can do much, its not a football game...the players anyway do their best and at the end anyway the chinese always win...

      CosmosZeroX actually more strategy comes from the coaches than you may think. And the view off the table is sometimes more effective than from the players point of view.

      Its still not only because of the caoch you know samsonov doesny have a coach when he play

    • @shingoukiex
      @shingoukiex Před 5 lety +2

      Kevin actually if the players are about the same level, then the coach will account for over 40% of the decisions, namely ball placement, type of serves and receives, etc. The reason why Sam don’t have a coach because there are no good coaches from his country that can help him at his level. I’ve coached TT for many years and players are not always aware of the opponents weaknesses.

  • @17teacmrocks
    @17teacmrocks Před 13 lety

    @perniciousnc not nervous or intimidated. yes under pressure.
    he hasn't played in a long time vs ryu seung min so he's cutting back on power until he learns ryu's play style.

  • @17teacmrocks
    @17teacmrocks Před 13 lety +1

    @SibelCeck yea i thought so too. by 5th or 6th game though, wang hao relearned ryu's play and he started applying more power to his shots

  • @mjtsirhc
    @mjtsirhc Před 11 lety +5

    RSM plays well, but the J-pen style is RSM's style, you can't say that it kills RSM's playing. RSM chooses that style. Also, keep your racist comments to yourself.

    • @djohnsonli3496
      @djohnsonli3496 Před 3 lety

      @@sumitshrestha2986 That's because his/her backhand side's ordinary weaker to attack or defend than a shake-hand player_except for a excellant reverse pen-hold back-hand attacker as Wang Hao, that he/she tends to stand close to back hand edge side. Especially when he/she try to make a heavy attack, he/she'll move even closer to back-hand edge side, there will then come out a big gap or hole in his/her right hand side for the opponent & become his/her weakness therefore...
