Hurrem's new plan is to provide Ibrahim to fall from grace. Hurrem fixes up that a gold inlaid Qoran to be gifted to Ibrahim. Pasha doesn't accept the gift. However, this attitude causes rumors that "Ibrahim rejects Qoran". Rumors rise over and over... They even come to a point that Ibrahim is a christian and he secretly goes to church.
Meanwhile Mehmet doesn't want to lose his favorite Nurbahar and decides to hide the young woman is pregnant. Mihrimah doesn't like this idea and she tries to protect her brother with her suggestions. In Manisa, Prince Mustafa gets devastated with a new affliction. Prince Suleiman contracts smallpox. This deadly disease strikes both him and Mahidevran.
Topkapı Palace hots up with Sultana Sah's arrival. Hatice gets prepared to host her sister in her palace but she gets offended after she lears that her sister will stay in Topkapı Palace. Meanwhile, Hurrem wants to welcome Sultana Sah whom she doesn't know very well and get her on her side.
How will be freed of Ibrahim's spy plan? What will Ibrahim Pasha do after people's protests? Will Hurrem's plan work the fullest? Will Prince Suleiman survive the deadly disease? Who will Sultana Sah be support?
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

That smug face is just perfection
Why would Ibrahim show her to Hurrem in the first place? And why not bring her to Suleyman right away? But NO, he had to be arrogant and show off to Hurrem. Never let your enemys know your next move. And also this was his stamp of death. And if he saw that the girl is going to lie why not go on with the lie. Such a well played scheme by Rustem. You can love or hate him, but you can't say that he is not the smartest man. And also the scene, the emotions, the dressee the lighting in this scene are BEST out of all the show. It goes so well and it tells a story.
Ibrahim's arrogance has always been his greatest flaw. He wanted to see Hurrem panic and squirm and sweat. His desire for petty satisfaction cost him his victory with Hurrem. This was his best chance to get rid of Hurrem if you ask me. But because he could not resist gloating and feeling superior he just came off like he was making one more baseless accusation against Hurrem like every other hater. And he looked extremely incompetent and stupid when Suleiman demanded explanation about the unknown pasha. It's just childish desire to gleefully boast that screwed Ibrahim over

That's one of the reasons he was executed. He was an arrogant a-hole who let the power of being Grand Vizer go to his head. He had statues made of himself, made himself a throne, even used the title of sultan. No one had to help him fall on his own sword, he did it on his own. And for all of Hurrem's enemy's who try to shake her throne, although they may have tried to shake her off of it, it was they who all were shaken and buried far away from away from the palace in the end!!!! She was the fire itself, and it was all of Hurrem's enemy's who were burnt. She was the Phoenix, always rising from the ashes. As Hurrem stated " From now on I will show no mercy to my enemies. (Ep. 104). And she never did show them anything but her wrath. She also stated this when she took over the harem: "My enemies should be afraid now, for now I will poison their every breath and I will rain fire down upon them!!!!"
The Best Episode for me.
The most important part of this is that Hurrem fills guilt for her death, she isn't just relieved and ready to for get. She preys for her and makes sure a family will be cared for. If it was Ibrahim or anyone else on time Mustafa they wouldn't have thought twice.
@@leoswiftie Exactly, she was fond out and scared for herself and her family so she made extreme choices. I like the spy plot but I wish they'd kept Efsun alive to be the spy.
@@leoswiftie I don't think Efsun's plot would be as bad as it is if it had been the only someone and Mustafa fall in plot, but they just kept recycling it.
@@leoswiftie She was and they totally wasted her. She could have been an amazing character for the rest of the series, especially if they'd made her the mother of one of Mustafa's two surviving daughters.
What gets me is that you see her clearly distressed by Gülezar's death and yet she still smirks at Ibrahim hshdhdjsj she's so iconic 😂

Silly Ibrahim, Hurrem always dots her I's and crosses her T's. And in the end, Sulieman was correct: The day that Ibrahim became his enemy was not because of Hurrem, but because of himself and his arrogance.

God I loved this show!!! It was absolutely fantastic!! Watched it twice. First time to busy reading the subtitles then the second time I got to see more of the surroundings cause I kinda knew what they were saying. Learned some words in Turkish. Drove my hubby and son crazy talking in Turkish lol. This show is well worth the watch!!

@@isabellairaca1669 Hurrem was not as bad as Mahi…Mahi had her son killed. Even after Leo was sacrificed in front of her….she still saved Ibrahim’s baby. But… Hurrem is the evil one? I mean to be far it is a feudal system. Every one of the sultans are evil “theoretically”…if they had brothers…Hurrem was loyal(to a fault yes) but anything less would have been treason.
