Is there a way I can time and plan for the ebucks rewards?, I noticed that I use my card mostly between 25-30 and then the rewards are counted for the previous month and end up not maximizing the rewards.

Hi Denver. Did you also have an issue regarding missed transactions via Virtual Card for online/streaming platforms?

Hi Yasser. I didn't have that problem but I heard of quite a few people that had trouble regarding the virtual card. I had trouble with reward points for my FNBy Account which made me drop a level. Ebucks normally has issues the first month the new rules come in to effect. Log a query. I did and they responded to say that they are investigating and if they find that they made an error, they will correct it this week and allocate the missing ebucks.

Ps. In terms of earning of eBucks and not so much moving up reward levels

Hi Shrien. If you get your home loan through FNB (apply on the app and not through a bond originator) then they will give you 50% discount on transfer fees as well as 50% back in ebucks for your first bond payment. So if you bond is R12000 then you will get R6000 in ebucks once your first debit order goes off. after that you don’t earn ebucks for your bond, only reward level points.

@@ecomden tops buddy. Love your vids and advice. Thanks for all the help. Unfortunately for me my bond went through the originator so I lose out 😭

It’s a pity you went via the originator… they will now get the commission. If you went directly FNB saves on commissions and gives you a cut in the form of ebucks. How I did it was to via originator to other banks. Nedbank came back the cheapest l. I then took that offer to FNB abs told them to match it. But anyway… ebucks aside… congrats on the new home!
