I’m 74 and someone asked me what skincare and make up I used when I was shopping in Boots they then asked me to help them choose some bits that really made my day and lifted my spirits. As I walked away she said I love your perfume too you are wearing coco chanel. Wow it’s amazing how a few lovely words from a stranger can make your day lol. Carry on being you you are such a lovely person it’s like having a friend in the room on your chatty days. Hope Louis gets on well 🙏😍

I agree with you 100% if I am out and about and I see someone and I find myself thinking something (nice) about that person I make a point of telling them. This applies to good service etc as well. Why not tell them rather than just think it. It takes no effort and makes that person feel better about their day

What furbabies do for our lives is more than I EVER knew as a young, woman. Sharing your bouts of depression is so kind of you. Gravity is such a mental challenge for most of us. Growing in years is a privilege given to few, I miss so many friends, one to fourth stage breast cancer, recently, the guilt is worse. We must move forward, I agree. I love long dresses 👗 myself, almost to the floor. Loved both you tried on,, second one, better. Im an old soul or just plain old 😅 God Bless you! I’ve been feeling the same as you lately. The weather in Canada has been dreadful as well. Even though it’s cold, we usually get some lovely sunny spells but it’s been so grey and dreary since the fall in the area that I live at many people are feeling the same way. It’s incredible how a few bright days can lift your mood. I can’t wait for spring! xx

Love your blogs Nisha ❤ I hope the best for Louie! Finding a great vet is not easy. We found one from our daughter after our long time vet retired. We love all of the vets there even though it’s 70 miles (112.65 km) each way, it’s worth it to know they’re in it for the animals welfare and not just the all mighty dollar. They all talk to them, pet them, & come out from the back to love on our sweet girl while we’re waiting in the waiting room. Have a great week!
Hi Nisha. Fingers crossed for Louie.....I have quite a big bust too and I buy a lot of bras from Chantelle....they are so pretty and supportive. Please let us know where you end up buying them from. I have also a swollen bag under one eye and I had a eye infection, so needed antibiotics....my friend had the same...maybe its worth going to see the doctor. Great blog and really love your blogs!

Nisha, in Vancouver we have bra shops, you go to fitting room and sales associate measure your upper part of your body and give you a bra that fits you perfect. usually it is a bra you would never buy xoxo...name of the shop is CHANGE, they are from Germany I think.

Nisha, I had an eye that would just run and run with tears. I went to the eye doctor and he did a test on my tear duct. He found that it was clogged. He did a surgery to reroute the tear duct. It fixed the problem. Later, the other eye started running like that. So I went back to him and sure enough the duct was clogged and he did the surgery and fixed that one too. He said that this can happen with age. I remember that I couldn't keep make up on the eye because of the constant watering. The surgery was quick and easy to recover from. A plastic surgeon did my procedures.
Was going to tell Nisha the same. The tear duct surgery is called a “ DCR” it stands for a long name, that I can’t remember now, but I have had both eyes done and also have provided anesthesia for these many times. My doctor said that it is often caused by the tier ducks being clogged by make up.

I am so glad I found you!! I have the same problem that you do, I also lost weight over the past 2 years (not trying) I think just an age thing with me, I love that you say what we all are thinking, I cannot find a bra to fit me properly either, it is so frustrating. You are just a delight to watch, I am from Michigan and it is dreary, rainy or snowing most of the winter, I also get down.

You were in my old haunt! Used to often go to that centre when we lived in Crowthorne. But, we were also fed up with the dreary weather and followed the sun and retired to Cape Town!

Hi Nisha! I too have a hard time in winter. There are times when I want to go out but I tend to stay home. I'm very sensitive to the weather! But that's the life of an anxiety-depressive! Here in Quebec City, I've been to almost every vet! We have clinics, but also a veterinary hospital that is at the cutting edge of everything that's new, and they always have the latest equipment. When my dog was sick, that's where I went! Now with my cat I go to a feline clinic where only cats are treated! Here as in UK the prices are very high even too high but we would do anything for our pet! I've always had trouble finding a bra that fits me perfectly. My breasts are very strong but my waist is small. It took me sixty years to find a strapless bra. I had to go to a place where they sell plus-size clothes. And finally I found it, because it often happens that women have to buy plus sizes for the lower part of the body, but are smaller for the top! And maybe you could check to see if there's a place where you live that offers a fitting service! Have a good week! xxx

Hi Nisha, always enjoy listening to your vlog. I hope Louie is ok. I heard you mention that you have an eye that constantly waters. I have the same problem and its apparently called 'dry eye' is one of the symptoms of menopause. I am 54, I was advised to put a heat pack on my eyes, as hot as I can manage, and then rub my eyes so that the little oil sacks under the lid (not sure what they called) can release the oils. Give it a try and see if that works for you. I find I have to do this every 2/3 weeks. I know it can be very annoying when you put make up on and your eyes water and by the end of the day you have no make up left xx

Sounds like Seasonal Affective Disorder. Try vitamin D supplement, light box and light bulbs for mood. Also getting 15 minutes of real sun on body before the sunscreen goes on. And going out for drives and walks help me too. 🌸

I am glad you found a good vet for Louie! Also, it's good because you will get the lip lump excised and sent to pathology. Dog's can have a rare cancer which comes up on their lips and their toes. My dog had it on his toe, which after treatments didn't heal and it turned out to be cancer. I hope that's not Louie, but best to be sure. I know it's scary to have him go under again, but sounds like he's in great hands. xx

Yes the winter does get you down and makes you feel depressed….at least it’s getting lighter now in the evenings.

It is a shame they do not have stores that have a fitter like they have in some American stores. Victoria Secret here in the US used to have women who measured you and helped with the correct size. I love Wacoal brand. Little pricey but the fit is fabulous. Good luck

May I suggest you try going to Rigby & Peller or Fantasie to get measured first, then either Fantasie or Prima Donna for a bra. Good Luck! Those dresses looked beautiful on you. 🎉🎉

I buy bras online from Leonisa. Excellent quality. Some of my Leonisa bras are 10 years old! Still good but I just bought some new ones and the quality is still there. I believe they are sold in some retail stores but I always buy from the website.

I live in Canada but am in the UK a few times a year visiting family. Bras are sooo personal but I love the Rosie range from M&S, BUT they are no good in the summer as they are quite lacy which shows up under t-shirts. On the hunt for a good bra that won’t show so let us know what you find!

Hi Nisha Always love the intro with Louie finding a vet can be a problem like trying to find a good Dr hope sorts out I am with you have a large bust and always a struggle trying to find the right bra that is comfortable , looks easy but it is not so i can relate to you finding the right bra since us girls wear them a lot we have to always find one that is going to be comfortable Do wear corsets at times and like bra just have to choose the right one love your skin care and makeup pink is gorgeous on you Donna xo💄❤

Bra struggle is real. The expensive French ones are the best but very expensive. I stopped buying them when I gained weight but nothing compares. (Can’t recall brand)

I have also been having a bit of winter fatigue. We have been having teasers of spring like weather on and off for a few weeks and then it snows again. I didn't mind the black and white dress you tried on at all. Maybe you didn't like the dresses because they are shirt dresses and they don't have any feminine details. I have been looking for a black and white print top but haven't found anything yet. A trustworthy vet is as important as your own doctor. It seems like you found a good vet. Your little boy is going to be fine. ❤️

Hi Nisha - Re your bags concerns…I never usually have bags but in January These horrible sacks which looked like they had liquid in just suddenly appeared under my eyes/top of cheeks area. I was so upset about it so I googled to try to find out what it could be etc. Anyway, I stumbled across an Australian skin doctor video which showed an exercise to help. I did it and after a day or two I went back to normal!! So - you make a v shape with your middle finger and pointer finger and place the point of middle finger into the skin just beneath the corner of each eye and the point of your pointer fingers on the skin at the outer corners of your eyes. You gently slightly pull the outer corners of your eyes out and up (using pointer fingers) and at the same time you sort of squeeze towards the bridge of your nose with your middle fingers. You do this action for about 20 times then gently pull your fingers down your face, repeat as often as you like (I did around 10 or so repetitions at a time. Apparently this action helps to “drain” something (sorry can’t remember the name of what you are draining but it is a muscle apparently). As I say I was astounded that it worked and these horrible fluid filled sacks which had appeared virtually overnight went just as quickly after doing these “exercises”. Definitely recommend giving this a go Nisha. Anyway, more Importantly, how is Louie? Thinking of you (& him)…I know exactly how stressful that is - our dog went through very similar. General anaesthetic, blood tests, full teeth cleaning plus removal of 2 teeth plus removal of a tumour he found at back of mouth on soft pallete (non cancerous thankfully) and it was just under €400 for all that here in France! Much cheaper than that procedure in U.K. Take care and keep smiling. Good times ahead…Spring on it’s way. 🤗 Love from Mary in France (your Scottish sista from another mista) x

Watering eyes can also be caused by dry eyes.
After a lot of persuasion from a friend I went to Bravissimo. It was a revelation. I had been measured as 32DD at M&S, turns out I’m a 30F! I have exactly the same issues as you. Loss of breast volume at top. Balconette bras definitely didn’t work for me. I also like some padding. Bravissimo is not just for larger busted ladies. Give them a try. They will give you loads of advice and have bras’s not on display that you can try once they have found a style and size that fits.
Hi Nisha, I have same issue with Bras. It’s was so difficult funding a supportive bra with a smaller band size and larger cup until I found the Wacoal brand here in Canada. Their 34G fit perfectly! It’s so important to be measured and measure correctly and I believe the UK sizing may be different too. Good luck!

Hi Nisha…I have had similar experiences with my two tiny dogs…both with their teeth…I am not happy either…seems like a lot of $$ to me…and one of them has one tooth left and it’s going to have to be removed….yeesh! Love them so much….and they look at me just like your Louis does….so trusting and loving. 🥰
About the bras…have you ever tried the Chantelle brand? Expensive but so comfortable and supportive and beautiful too! I love them and they last much longer than the cheaper ones. Have a super week! Looking forward to hearing about your plastic surgery consult too.

Yes and I didn't think it did anything for me, I will be OK, I just had a lot of little and not so little things going wrong since last December in my life so I think it has taken its toll on me, I am not good at dealing with stress but things can only get better, right? xx
Hi Nisha, I know most pet insurance policies don't cover teeth, but if they remove the lump to be checked , can't you claim for that,only its a different issue x

Good morning Nisha. I thnk you're right about this time of year being the cause of feeling down. I think it's called seasonal depression but could be wrong. It's hard after the rush and excitement of the holidays ends. I feel it too. Glad you've found Louie a vet you're comfortable with and hope all goes well with his teeth cleaning, etc. Kinda glad you decided not to get the dresses you tried on. I can't find a good bra anymore either! It's so funny you came up on my CZcams feed saying this very thing I was just complaining about earlier! I used to get my bras from Fredrick's of Hollywood but they are nowhere to be found now! They were made to fit small ribbed, large breasted women and they were always very attractive! I have the same problem. So I found adore me which Victoria secret now Carry's on line cause they bought out adore me I love the Rochelle and bought 6 of the same style. I have terrible sciatica and can't wear a super tight bra , so I love the mesh back and the great push up .
Love your chatty videos, like being with a friend for coffee. I buy Fantasie balconette bras, John Lewis or online. If I’m down I exercise or go to a dance/ music based class. I’m 71 (but still think I’m younger😂) xx

Hi Nisha. You are going through the winter blahs like so many of us. Spring can't come soon enough. I find that my allergies have been acting up a bit more lately. Runny nose, sneezing, and my eyes water often which is annoying when you have make-up on. Even my husband has cabin fever. You made me laugh with the bra talk and where the 'boobies' move to after a while. LOL. I hope this new vet will take better care of Louis. One day at a time, Nisha.
