This channel is gonna boom and I want Piemonte now :)
Fascinante contenido!!!
Gracias!
Outstandingly clear and informative. I fully support drinking wines from the region where the food comes from. Growers and cooks have spent centuries balancing their products with each other. I applauded when you mentioned Barolo and then Lambrusco! Yes! Lambrusco went through a terrible time in the 80s where their reputation abroad suffered. But now it is again a superb wine and an easy introduction to wine for people not used to it. The 3 steps to choosing a wine that you outlines is fault less and foolproof. For an adventure in holiday I always try the local vino da tavolo (or national equivalent) and sometimes can be happily surprised. Part of the adventure of travel! And now I know exactly what to buy when I make boar stew in the autumn! Molto grazie Sebastian 👏🏽🍇🥂
Indeed! Although it is still sometimes shunned by Italians, Lambrusco can make for a great afternoon aperitivo and surprise with quality wines. By far the best bottle I can recommend is that Tuscan IGT I filmed . If you can get your hands on it I’m sure you’ll be very pleased. Vino da tavola rarely disappoints in Italy indeed! Thanks for your support, drinking one to your health in Venice this evening. Always a pleasure to read from you!
Actually Turin was the first capital of Italy. Great video for beginners
Mea culpa. Thanks!
Now you need to come to Abruzzo and try the Montepulciano 😄
Very true! There’s so much to discover
This channel is becoming my favourite! Great content. Well organized and with the right amount of repetition.

Food origins & gastronomy classics
@@sebastianmessinger just some ideas: an episode where you assemble footage of the preparation of tea in different places in the world ; the vraie salade niçoise (I never could figure out what is the OG recipe for this one :-D ; the napolitean pizza ; le méchoui ; le cassoulet ; paella ; cacio e pepe ; carbonara (with guanciale!) ; some catalan tapas (the one with fried artichokes for example)…
Great idea, I’m actually in Nice tomorrow… maybe I’ll do some digging
Omg need to go to Italy NOW
Or just drink Italy at home!
Let's go Seb !!! Great episode once again. Keep it going my dude, the views are coming ;)
