Our education system has failed us. Critical and ethical thinking is a college course that should be taught in k-12.
It teaches us to use credible and verifiable facts/evidence, and not feelings/hearsay, as the basis of our worldviews.
When we use feelings/hearsay we create distorted worldviews. When those distorted worldviews come into question with contradictory facts/evidence there is stress in the psyche known as cognitive dissonance. There are only two reactions to the stress, acceptance or denial of the facts that caused it. A critical thinker can take new facts/evidence and evolve their worldview, whereas someone who lacks said skill will deny the facts and often times become hostile, in order to uphold core beliefs, no matter how flawed.
Open-minded with a healthy sense of skepticism. The first thing a critical thinker does when confronted with new information, is question the credibility of source. Then verify.
People can pray wherever they want.They just can't force others to do so.
I guess they think no one else is a Christian but them. They might start by teaching to 'love your neighbor as yourself'.

Why are any of your fake gods any more real than other peoples?
You are aware of the century and our knowledge of our solar system, galaxy and its place in the universe and still believe in a god and we are his favorites and there is some fictitious afterlife?
And if you respond don't bother unless you can explain why your god is THE god among all the god/gods the people on our planet believe in....
The answer is simple because man made them all up and there are no god/gods to save our species and planet from ourselves and our destructive behavior and we as a species who all share the same planet in a far off shoot corner of the galaxy need to do better and treat each other better and stop believing in childish things.

From its earliest inception, Church has always wanted to be State. And from the caves to the castles to the congress, keeping the populace in check and in submission has always been its primary role.
You know, watching these clips of former presidents, got me thinking… Remember the days when politicians were civil with each other and had some sense of decorum? At least in public they went out of their way to make sure that many Americans as possible were included in their statements, to show that we are the United States of America.. one ugly orange man has turned us into the divided states of America.
