(reason) = If days are decreasing then man will increase it's similar as speed is inversely proportional to time
Now formula of inverse proportion is:-

the formula is:x1 multiply y1=x2 multiply y2 this is the fomula
Lets do this problem:
Step 1:8days-12men and 6days-howmany men
step 2:so,8 multiply12divided by 6
step 3:so,8multiply12=96
step 4:so,96divided by 6=16
And then answer is :16 men
