    Finally a video of reassembling the ‘dropped tank’. I hope I put the fuel intake hose in the right fuel line.

  • @tiredoftheliesarentyou690

    Funny but this is exactly what I wanted to see. Can smell some fuel when I fill mine up. Thanks

    Any idea what the torque is for the fuel pump gasket bolts?

    What size jack did you use

    Wow I was hoping to see how easy or hard it was reaching in to reinstall the fuel inlet and vent hoses back on the tank. Darn

      You could try to drop the tank a little and jack the rear of the body up, that may give you enough space

    Did you remove your exhaust pipe while installing? If so, do you have to remove it or does it just give more space?

    • @offthejeepend178
      @offthejeepend178  Před 2 lety

      I did it with the exhaust pipe out if I remember correctly, but it can be done with it in. Maybe just take the muffler hanger off of the supports and tailpipe hanger

    I need to replace my bolts. What size bolts did you use to replace ?

      I would bring the best bolt you have and match it at the hardware store, if your talking about the 3 toward the front, I used 1/2 head about 1.5 inches long with matching nut

    Hey do you remember what size bolts you used for the front of the skid plate

    Are the gas lines (hoses) different sizes? Also, you said the ‘top’ line goes to which fuel line on top of the fuel pump?

    • @offthejeepend178
      @offthejeepend178  Před rokem

      They should be the same size, I believe on the fuel pump the forward most connection goes to the inline filter "Supply".

    did you have to replace any of the bolts? You didn't say.

    • @offthejeepend178
      @offthejeepend178  Před 2 lety

      The front three bolts, I had to add new metal to the lip on the frame and drill new holes with new bolts. In the rear I had some carriage bolts laying around to replace some of the rusted old bolts.
