Douglas Murray roasts ‘boring sermoniser’ Stephen Colbert

Author Douglas Murray has roasted ‘The Late Show’ host Stephen Colbert as a “boring sermoniser” of the American left.
It comes as CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins appeared on the late-night comedy show to talk about the state of the presidential race.
During Ms Collins's appearance on the show, she appeared shocked by the 'Late Show' audience as they laughed following an off-the-cuff remark made by Mr Colbert about CNN being ‘objective’.
“I just can't watch Stephen Colbert most of the time almost nobody does,” Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“He's just become one of these sermonisers, boring sermoniser of the American left in what used to be late-night comedy slots.
“But it was wonderful to see that his audience was wiser than he was and knew more than he did, and laughed in the face of the idea that CNN simply attempts to report the truth.”
