It’s week 2 of the dance talent show where dancers of any age and dance style compete to win £50,000 and a chance to perform on Strictly Come Dancing.
Leading the charge to discover the greatest dancer are three superstar dance captains - platinum-selling singer Cheryl, Broadway and Glee star Matthew Morrison and Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse.
The series is hosted by singer and presenter Alesha Dixon and Jordan Banjo, member of multi-award-winning dance troupe Diversity.
The audience hold the power - if they are impressed by the audition, they can vote to open the mirror, and if 75 per cent of the audience vote yes then the mirror will open and the dancer will make it through to the next stage of the competition, the callbacks. Get ready to see talent from across the world of dance, from ballet to jazz, street to ballroom, contemporary to disco as the dancers give the performances of their lives in the hope of opening the mirror.

Truly uncommon to come across mini groups like this with the very modern “dance moms” style who are so technically brilliant and have such incredible timing. The dance moms group and many American mini show groups are full of tricks and great as a single, but technically never so on point and together in timing. So well done for their ages.

I'm just mad there were five girls that weren't even choreographed in until after the first chorus. I don't mind starting with three or even one kid for a troupe, but why only have half the kids in 2/3 of the dance.

sally shiers *PLEASE READ FULLY*do you mean for the first part because I think the choreographer wanted it to be calm and just have a small group and then have the rest of the group dance together to me it kinda reminds me of a song me and my school band are working on my group (the flutes) start out because we are very peaceful and very quite and the song focuses on that you may can listen to it it’s Ancient Spirits and the flutes start and then everyone else joins in a couple measures so as I say they might have wanted to be chill and go with the tempo at the beginning and then have a bigger performance since the whole group performs after that together and it builds more attitude and power to it rather than everyone starting together you wouldn’t get the same effect.
Also I’m not throwing any shade to any other instrumentalists what I mean is that we are those ,y most quit of the group and make the highest pitch of the group

Am I the only one how feels bad for the girls that have to wait almost the whole song before you can dance. Me as a dancer myself, I can say that that way isn’t that fun the do. Because the order you get to join in is kind of equal to how good you are witch can be kind of devastating when you are in a late group and can make girls cocky because there in the first group. No hate but I just didn’t like that. It would have been better when they like changed formation and stuff so the fist group wasn’t in the front the whole time but it is what it is.
They didn't show the whole dance......all the girls got more than enough dance time....

I agree, I was also a dancer for multiple years and my teacher was very obvious with her favourites, a lot of us often ended up at the back and came in at the end a lot.
