Hi Natasha. Enjoying your channel. Recommended from a bachlorette friend of mine who cant cook. Said the dishes she made from ur channel all came out very well. I cant eat plain white flour as it makes me constipated. I usually make bakes with coconut and oats. Would love a sada roti recipe with some grains like oats.
Hi and welcome to my channel tell your friend a huge thank you for me. I have a gluten free roti but will work on an oats / grain version.
@@TriniCookingwithNatasha many thanks
Enjoyed watching your step by step video I cooked all kind of food but first time seeing how to make sada from scratch will be trying it very soon well done
Thank you so much, enjoy and happy cooking.
Great I like trying most of your dishes especially the Indian dishes and they come out perfect thanks Natasha
Natasha with the iron fingers! I’m trying this today, my kids love roti toast for breakfast 😍😍 Thank you for the detailed video.
This was amazing definitely checking out your paratha and dhalpuri videos. This is a public service to all girls like me who didn't pay close attention to their mom's action in the kitchen lol
Hello Natasha,
I can't get this to work for me - no way, no how! I have to put whole wheat because we are a house of diabetics. I have tried putting baking powder *and* yeast...still no swelling. I have left it to rest for 30 minutes and more. I fed up, girl. I have resigned to just rolling it out thinly and making sure the dough is cooked and eating it just so. I enjoy watching how you make it and get the flour to do what you want it to do. This is my happiness now.
Perfectly made!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 that’s how it’s ✅ done👉🏼
Thank you 🙏
I've wanted to make rities know I know how thank you so much

Great recipe! tried it for the first time and it started to swell...not all the way though. thank you so much!
Excellent demo. What if I want to have a mixed flour sada roti using whole wheat or bran with the all purpose flour? Any suggestions?
Hi Natasha, ty soooooo much for this recipe. Just yesterday I made roti n it came out stiff n did not puff up.

Hi Natasha is your stove stove a coil burner or glass surface? Also I don’t have a tawah, can I use a large frying pan instead?
I tried it, didn’t swell like urs, but it tasted good
Hi Natasha..can u use this dough to make fried bake
Wow skills
🙏🙏🙏🙏
I like presentation. It easy and simple to do👍
I do love your sada Roti. wonderful.
Can I knead the dough the night before and leave it in the fridge?
Awesome
Natasha did you use salt in the flour?
Wow....can’t wait try it
Great recipe, I tried buss up shut and it came out perfectly, so this next. Can I ask, how do you clean your Tawa? Does it have to be treated like a cast iron pan? ( I have an iron tawa)
Excellent job I love your recipe
Could I use self-raising flour if no all-purpose flour?
Resting it a couple of seconds before cooking really helped. Mine didn't puff all the way, but it puffed alot. I don't know if it needs more resting time for for wheat sada.
Thanks soo much for this video you have no idea how this will help me. 😄😄😄❤❤❤
You are so welcome!
What are your tips for someone that has to make their dough from the night before and make the actual roti the next morning?
First try at this and it came out great, thank you!!!!

Do you add any oil or butter to the tawa?
No it just needs to be hot
Thank you so much. I am going to try your recipe because for some reason my roti do not puff up. I was also curious if you put oil or butter on your platin?
No oil or butter.
Thank you
I'm going to try it because I want to make it❤
Also is there a ratio of flour to baking powder we can use if we don’t want to make a big Roti, or maybe we want to make smaller rotis
Where is that shop, I will patronize when I go home.
1. Can you make sada roti using self rising flour? 2. Can you make it in the oven on a pizza stone?
