    suppose if i have 10 slides, i want to print 4 slides in handout modein one page, other 2 slides on other page and remaining single on each paper. so my question is while printing and in print preview right down corner side page number is appearing as one for each I printed separately. so I want the answer how to remove that page number not the slide number.

    • @ArifsEducationTV
      @ArifsEducationTV  Před 7 lety +1

      Dear Santhosh,
      Thanks for your message. Yes, you can certainly print the way you want. The best way to do it is to set , for example, the desired slides 1 - 4 or 3 - 6 in a page to print first as per my tutorial. Then, set 2 slides per page to print. Please watch my tutorial once again while following these instructions given here. You should be fine. If you require anything further to clarify, please let me know. Thanks.

      Thanks for your reply sir. actually what I want to know is that, while printing the page (ex 4 handouts in one pg) pg number is coming at right side bottom of the page (not the slide no& I have deselected slide number & pg no in hdr&footer for info) which is showing always 1 no on each slide I print(I don't need this no). hence i need to remove that number and iam not getting the related settings any where. pls help Me out. thanks

    • @ArifsEducationTV
      @ArifsEducationTV  Před 7 lety +1

      Dear Santhosh,
      I think in your first query you asked me for advice on how to remove the page number, but in your second query you asked to know how to remove slide number. Regardless, page numbers at the bottom right hand corner of the screen that you see in the preview are appearing as a result of text box created on one of your slides and you have to manually remove it. It;'s the same way you type your texts in slides and delete. If you're, however, asking to remove slide numbers, you obviously need to go to Header & Footer and deselect Slide No & Footer in Slide option and Page No & Footer in Notes and Handouts options. Hope they answer you better. These answers may not be appropriate for some versions of Office you use. Thanks.

      When you see 6 slides in Preview, take a screenshot. Then trim the sides of the page as per your needs and convert the page to PDF if you need to; otherwise you can be happy with the JPEG format. This is my best personal idea I can share with you if it can help.

    • @ArifsEducationTV
      @ArifsEducationTV  Před 8 lety

      Hi Nely,
      I'm really sorry for the delay in coming back to you.
      I'm not sure if you already have PowerPoint up and running on your iPad. If you don't, you need to download Dropbox application and install Keynote software which will successfully translate into PowerPoint slides.
      Regarding printing, first you need to locate the printer icon situated on the top left hand corner (second icon) on the screen from drop down menu option. Once you click print, please don't select a printer. As you tab, it'll automatically look for the printer. You need a wireless printer which is compatible with Airprint and this will allow you to print straight away. You get to add the printer accordingly.
      If you don't have the above-mentioned option, there's an alternative. You may consider buying a third party app called Printer Pro in the app store. It may just cost you a few dollars. Good luck with it.
      If you have any other question relating to this, please do not hesitate to ask me.
      Thanks,
      Arif

    hello how can i print the slides without the big space between the slides please?

    • @ArifsEducationTV
      @ArifsEducationTV  Před 7 lety +1

      Thanks for your message.
      First of all, please tick the option "Scale to Fit Paper" in the same area you choose Slides. If you are talking about 9 slides per page, I suggest you set the page orientation to landscape and preview the page before printing. It'll look better. If it's 6 slides per page, it's recommended to use portrait. Regardless, Scale to Fit Paper option will zoom in your slides a bit. Hope this answers your question.

      I'm not sure what margin you're talking about. I can't see any margin when printing.

      Space will be there in PowerPoint. No one can change it until Microsoft changes its configuration. You can simply minimize a bit through my advice given in the first reply. If you preview to print one slide per page to 2 slides, then to 3 and so on, you should notice that the extra space automatically gets generated due to slides' structures/orientations as they're square. They cannot be made rectangles to fill the gaps or space. I hope you got my point.

      It’s possible that you’re using a very old version which may not be compatible with the latest one.

      Thanks for your message. Please try using "Scale to Fit Paper" option available in the same area. This option definitely improves 9 Slides per page. Space will be there in PowerPoint. No one can change it until Microsoft changes its configuration. If you preview to print one slide per page to 2 slides, then to 3 and so on, you should notice that the extra space automatically gets generated due to slides' structures/orientations as they're square.
