Lisa also sang back-up for Chaka Khan a couple of years before joining Luther's live concerts. She sings "NIGHT IN TUNISIA" live with her on the"THIS IS MY NIGHT/I FEEL FOR YOU" concert series and tears it up. I began following her career right after I'd saw that performance in Iwakuni, Japan while serving in the U.S. MARINES. My God she's beautiful, humble and vocal chords second to none!!!! Out

One year he was in town to do a concert,he stay at the hotel I was working at I was scheduled to work that night so as he was departing the hotel I just ran outside and start waving at the dark limo,don't know if he saw me or not,but I was a waving ass.
I'm so glad I got to see him perform live. I was 10 years old and saw DeBarge and Luther Vandross in New Orleans at the U.N.O. Lakefront arena. What a great concert!
I went to this tour in New Jersey when I was 16. It was Luther, Anita and Shirley Murdock. I remember this part of the concert where Luther’s background singers sounded like something from another world. They literally gave me chills. I was blown away.
This is my childhood. My mother was the biggest Luther fan and had this tape. This is Luther Live at Wembley (I think). Me, my brother, and sister could recite this whole video frontwards and backwards, even the adlibs. 😂 Miss my mom 🕊❤
