Bedenbaugh is a stud- I’d take him over a good recruiter who doesn’t develop players. Which is a LOT of OL coaches
To be fair, Cousin Shane felt he should be a few spots higher. I'm fine with putting him at 10 at this point. Hell, put him at 16 and leave OU out of the top 25. Get the boys good and pissed off going into the year!
All places look at what they know about the Offensive Line and what the these players looked like in the bowl games. That’s how they do the ranking of QBs. It’s not just how good they are.

Arnold needs to allow his WR's and RB's to carry the team in the early part of the season. If he forces things it could be a problem. Again allow the talent around him to excel and let him mature.
Nope....he's the 5*, he's the man and he needs to get going early. Needs 60+ throws by Tennessee before Texas week and the rest of the SEC. He's had a Spring, a fall, another spring and now fall ball again.

OU will try and establish the run and short passes mixed with play action and deep passes. If JA can connect on those deep passes, it will make a big difference in our win totals
There is a bias against OU, has been for years. The SEC has always had issues with us. Their wins against us are gold, our wins against them, they ignore. Bama, We beat them in 2003, 2014, but all they remember is 2018 when they won. We beat Tennessee in 2015, came back from 17-0 to win in double OT. beat Auburn in the 2017 Sugar Bowl. Beat Florida in 2020 Cotton Bowl. yes, Ga. beat us at the Rose Bowl, but, we gave them all the game they wanted, Georgia. 54 OU 48. They didn't stomp us, they survived. Their running attack was good. Point being, this attitude that "They ain't SEC" as that Florida player said before that Bowl game, shows that attitude. No respect. So I think when they, SEC podcast analysts look at us, they have that old bias ingrained , and cannot help themselves. On the other hand, in fairness, All any of us have to go on, is the bowl game JA played in. But your point about Tenn. QB is spot on. and points to that bias and lack of fairness in evaluation. They give their guy the nod over ours. So be it. The team can use that as fuel. OU always seems to play better when we aren't favored or disrespected, so USE IT!! Man ask for seconds! Get these boys riled up! Boomer!
Welcome to the SEC my partner. When you were in high school and a new dude showed up. No matter how bad ass rep he had all the OLD dudes tested him before new guy was tagged with a good as advertised label.
I hope you take this well because I mean it to be nice the longer you're in the SEC as a
fan losing recruits and coaches is going to happen a lot, and it happens to everybody even Alabama so get used to it, it's tough to take, but it's part of playing in this conference.
It happens. When you're involved in high-profile recruiting battles, you're bound to lose some. But you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
