Hunter use to be my number one selling sprinkler back in the day when I worked at a wholesale supply company. Wish my yard was big enough now for them. 👍🏻

Mom asked her gardener to adjust her backyard sprinklers. They noticed that the fence needed a new post and with her blessing replaced two. Only thing is, they forgot to adjust the sprinklers. I decided to get the necessary tools and do it myself. Just finished adjusting mom's sprinklers. I used your informative video to do so. I had to refer to the video when I wasn't able to adjust the left arc. Your video instructed to "Stick it in here. That's what she said." Well, I stuck it in the wrong hole! Thanks for your help.

While the thing is popped up, just grab it around the base and turn to the right (that’s what she said). I’ve had to do a lot of adjusting since the previous owner set it up and the zones don’t follow the sun patterns well.
Your better off back filling before adjusting. And you don’t have to unscrew the top to adjust it to the right you can just turn the whole head and it’s easier to adjust while it’s runnjng
I beg to differ. If you've tightened the sprinkler to the riser sufficiently to prevent seepage at the riser coupling point (and no I don't mean really reefing down on it, just enough so it's snug) and then discover your right arc stop point is 45 degrees past where you want it, you can't simply tighten it down another 315 degrees, or back it off 45 degrees. Sometimes you can, but not always. This guy's video shows the correct way if the right arc stop is a long ways from where need it to be.

You might want to also check out the low angle nozzles so the spray is affected less by wind.

Do I really have to dig like that to actually adjust my sprinkler heads? My zone 2 is the front yard which they aren’t spraying like they should?
How do you adjust the height of the sprayer. It’s not hit in the corner of my yard and it’s going a full 180.

hello, I have a plot of 35521 sqft, I put 17 sprinklers in a rectangle 23 ft inside the perimeter. I have a 2 HP pump (I do not remember the brand) and I put Hunter PGP Ultra sprinklers, but they have very little pressure in some places. What do you recommend me to do, divide the irrigation in two zones or put a bigger pump, for example 5.5 HP? Thanks
So you are also watering the sidewalks? Wouldn’t a different sprayer head like a pop-up work better by the curb?
Noticed that too! I think they make side strip nozzles just for that application. In our area of Texas, watering a sidewalk will get you a ticket during drought restrictions.
They don’t cover as well than with rotors
Are the sprinkler heads suppose to be flush with grass , meaning sprinkler head height?

a lot of sidewalk watering. I did similar things with rotor head sprinklers but the *pros throw down a lot of small fixed short range sprinklers verses a few rotor heads on a small lown like yours. It saves water and gets more even coverage.

I just replaced my PGP's with I-20's. I have been very pleased with Hunter.
Check out the Toro heads. I switched out all my Hunter heads, less than 6 months old over to the Toro. No tool for adjusting the directional spray pattern, only to fan out the spray. 👍

You can also replace the blue filter in the front to increase or decrease the gpm.
I was going to say the same. I wish you could buy the individual GPM you need versus the entire nozzle tree!
I went to buy the whole tree at a local HW store and they just gave me some. Apparently they come with the heads but most people don’t take the. At least at that store. Worth checking. I wish you could get them individually so you can get a bunch of one size

I still cringe when i see those trenches in your lawn. When u refill all of them, are u gonna mound it a little to acct for any settling. Or make it flat and level later?
So I commented last video, your front yard coverage is perfect, minus one right in the middle on the street side but that’s okay.
Your side yard has less than ideal coverage because you’re missing the opposite corner next to street and middle next to driveway and so on
My side yard actually has way too good of coverage
