How to Install REAR SRT BREMBO Brakes on Durango R/T

- In this video I show you how to install rear SRT Brembo Calipers, Powerstop Rotors and Pads on a Dodge Durango R/T. This is a direct bolt on installation and super easy process.
This video assumes you know how to jack the vehicle up and put it on jack stands properly. It also assumes you know how to take the wheel off a bleed the brakes once finished with the caliper install.

Found mine on eBay from a totaled out Cherokee…I sandblasted them and powder coated them gold. Spent all of $800 for the full calipers and rotors…perfect fit. Wife loves the upgrade.

Hi. I have brembo brakes from a 2023 durango srt. Im trying to put them on my 2022 RT. However I was told i need the spindles from the durango SRT as well. Is this accurate?
Zac great video on the installation man. So the wheel spacers are also required for these calipers?
Yeah if keeping factory rt wheels. If you have srt wheels or larger rims with proper offset the spacers arent needed

If they are the srt wheels off a durango srt then you should be good with no spacer

They fit as long as you have 1” spacers
Wow you didn’t have to swoop out the rear spindle??? I have a challenger 2015 and wanted to swoop the rear Brembo’s would I need to change spindle

Great video. One of my favorites things is a brake upgrade. Will be doing this on our new order. Curious if you have tried or know someone who has done this on a 2021 with the new 2.0” wheels and if they needed wheel spacers?

They seem to have a slight bit more clearance on spokes too from profile so just curious.

I have 20x10 hellcat wheels ...With the 1inch Hubcentric wheels spacer wont this cause the wheels to rub?
You don’t need them if your wheels are wider than factory rt wheels
Have you tried any of the 2021 2.0” Durango wheels if they clear without spacers?

There is zero space for brembos on the stock r/t wheel...If you put the 22 x 10 Hellcats on with the +45 offset, you will have plenty of space with no spacers needed

My Durango was a 2016. Any srt jeep from 12+ or durango srt 18+ calipers will work

No, spacers prevented that. 1” minimum spacers needed
I have 2019 jeep grand Cherokee R/t basically 5.7L after you bleed out the lines did you have to refill the brake reservoir , and I thought you had to switch brakes lines also ?
no different brake fluid either ? or brake fluid that already their good ?
Yes refill the master cylinder. It will take a couple bottles of fluid to refill when you bleed all 4 brakes. Brake lines don’t need to be changed

100%, just did this with my 2013 but you'll need the wheel spacer for clearance.
At 5:11 did you torque those 2 caliper bolts down to 110lbs?
I think it's 130 lbs, at least for the 2013. Just tighten them as much as you can.
