Vendor chests have been a thing for multiple Bethesda games. So it's just a matter of people being persistent in finding a way to glitch under the map.
It baffles me, as it did with Skyrim, and how obscure some of the places you have to go to which are totally out of the way, just to get to some hidden loot under the map.
@@snowvon7160 Update: you can go to Venus in the Sol System (our own star system), and wait on that planet. 1 hour = 10 days on that planet. (It's actually more in real life). Anyway by waiting 24 hours, you can effectively make 100 in game days go by in a few seconds.
Just tried this, worked first try. I know its been said, but amazing video. Straight to the point and no BS. I love that i could just follow along and not have to stop every few seconds to wait for you to get back on subject like most clickbait videos. Props.
This is killer, and Im greatful that you figured this out. You are a true pioneer of the stars. Though, I will say, the credits didnt respawn in ship vendor for me. I tried waiting in the same area for 48 hours, and tried going to a different planet and waiting 48 hours, and that still didnt work. Hope there can be a solution figured out because this is THE fasted possible way to get credits. Again, kudos good sir.
Also: it’s 48 hours Universal Time. Not as helpful on planets close to it, but if you’re on one that advances UT by 12 hours for every 1 local hour, you only need to wait 2 hours.
Fun fact. Does not work (floating water part) if you are in third person view. Took me about 5mins to figure that out. Awesome find and walkthrough man. Also, at the mcguyver your way part, push slightly right and you run up the wall.

During the starship builder, if you’re trying to attach a part and the parts are clipping and red, flip the part(has to be flippable) and flip it back(to the point that you want it attached). Hit the cancel button (the part should be in place you want it to be now but highlighted red) select the part again it should be green for you to attach. I’ve tried this with many attachments and the game still reads it as nominal. Edit: I really hope this helps with some of the cosmetic pieces y’all are trying to snap on, but the game won’t allow. I’ve been trying to share this as much as I can.
Adding to this if you "place" a ship module in a spot in cant be placed it, such as in between two pieces or intersecting another, will allow you to scroll through all the modules including ones locked behind the starship skill and place them regardless
I also want to give another tip, if you want to really maximize getting credits. I will usually buy out all of this vendors ships, get my credits back and go across to Neon, Atlantis, wolf den etc while I am traveling and sell the ships there. Its insane how many credits I was getting in such a short time.
For people that need help if you can’t talk underneath him. There is a moment the ship vendor will lean against the kiosk. If you have a basic boost pack, you can get behind him hit the boost pack, and spam talk while you are boosting and you’ll speak to him through the floor. This was the only way I got it to work.
There's some real bug/glitch hunters out in the world and I think that is so interesting. I had a friend who would play on games with me that had community ran servers, he would always find absolutely economy breaking bugs... amazes me the personalities that strive to find this stuff.
Managed to get to the area with no boostpack perks and only level 6, using just a balanced boost pack. near the rock that you go under, you can jump back into the water to get some height, and then you can swim out of the water and boost over the wall displayed at 3:34 Also, its much easier to travel to the commercial district, turn around and jump off over the wall over the train.
@@heatheninferos2231 if I’m over encumbered my O2 levels drop faster on Very hard to what they do on very easy. Then my health seems to drop quicker too….. maybe I’m noticing more because of the extreme switch in difficulty levels 🤷🏻♂️
Thank you ! From your path, I found my own way above without going through the damaging water fall... It was feeling quite labyrinthic at start with sometimes water making you float when you don't want to, but in the end with the compass showing the ship it was just a question of trying here and there a few times and I just get back all my precious money fome greedy vendor who wanted to make me pay 100 for something which should have been free at first. Finally, she paid 100K including all her stuff ! It would be hard to descriebe the path I took ; I only remember instead of going to the water fall directly, I followed the cliff rocks to the top untill I saw blue buildings I could reach with jetpack ; From there it's a bit longer and more labyrinthic than the video path, but it's much safer and does not cost anything, except maybe a few saves to avoid going up too much because of water /& dead-ends...
Great video, I was stuck on the rock. I was on a ledge on the rock where you get stuck at. Then ounce I jumped you look slight right to get around the building corner and curve left. After that I was able to drop on the other side that’s the main area
That last climb you have to make before making it to the first chest. I had a Basic Boostpack, only level one on Boostpacks, and was able to do it. Instead of dropping down and then jumping up, I just ran along the rocks to jump into the corner, managed to sit on it for just long enough to be able to boost onto the ground. Fractured my limbs, but just made over 100,000. Worth it.
Just wanted to comment and add that this can be accomplished with a balanced jump pack and two points in the jump pack skill as well, thanks for the video!

Hey! I’ve just tried it and it worked, but I couldn’t figure out how/when does the vendors credit reset? I have tried to go sit and wait on my ship’s jump seat for 24 hours (6-7 times) but I didn’t work. Anybody got solution for that?
You’re goated! Finally someone who knows what a *Glitch* is unlike rifle gaming and DPJ and the rest of the click baiting squads. Those bots think glitch means exploiting the loading area and changing difficulty which has been around since at least fallout 3 Lmao. Gonna get a solid mil doing this and see if I can place a chair 🪑 to wait under the map. I’ll edit this after I try and update if it works.
This method takes so much longer, just go to the blue door in the commercial district pass the outland and bank and you'll see a tree near the buildings, jump up go through the blue door and drop down and you only have to drop down 1 mountain to get to all the chests. drop down and head left and you'll drop down a mountain and be there in only a minute. Loot, head to Venus and wait for 24 hours and repeat. Easy 500+k per hour

the only amount of money will recieve form this vendor is the amount you put into it from building or upgrading your ships. This vendor when it refreshes only has 5k in the chest, and it wont refresh unless you buy something from him!
One thing to remember the trade authroity will buy stolen goods. Grab the stealth perk rank 1, make sure you're hidden, then rob that chest of what is best in it. Run to the ship vendor chest, rob it, pop out, run back to the lift and go down to the well. Sell the stolen items, then repeat it.
Definitely works and on cosole also so i got 98k in the box by my ship and stole all gear from merctile. I did save reload wait 3 days ,left, came back and i was able to get the merctile box to respawn but the ship box is still empty. Hmm wonder how to get that one to refill. I would also love how to figure out how to get over to gel bank im sure there is boxes under atm lol!!! Thx for the tip. Also to get all gear not be marked stolen go to the den at wolf sell to trade authority then byy back the resources zero money lost so you can craft!!
So I've left and, went back a few times now did other stuff in game. Now I understand that box with the 75k and why it has sooo much that is the vendors bank roll so you can sell ships to them. They have more cause ships cost more. Trick with technical boxes is buy ships and upgrades and get your money back. You sit next to box an acess ship tech from below genius!! The next trick is to figure out how to get outt map at other star ports!! @vNivara also steal from mertile you can't get caught or I haven't yet and that box has 6k to 7k credit plus suits and it does respawn. Think it'd the normal 48 in game time. But an under estimation is all the resources in that box greeeat for crafting I take all each time I've gone down there. BTW thx for video!!!

Uc distributors is kinda above. The area we swim under the water in stead of dropping down anyway to continue traversal upwards!! Jw thx again
You go to Venus and sit down in your ship you wait 24 hrs in game and go back and the chest is refilled. Also the is a easier and faster method to get under the map. Any jet pack will do.
So theres actually another chest you can grab from UC distribution. If you have a power pack you can get to it. First you have to go near it and there should be invisible water near it, use it to carry you up to the orange platform and then go to it and use power boost to get up to it and grab what's in it
I got across with 3 meds a sparkling water that gives 20% O2 regen and the one that gives you a speed boost. also when you get to the craves at 3:50 you can just stay on the top ledge walk as close to the shops as possible and it makes getting over the last gap at 4:00 easy if you just boost around that corner. no need for tear 2 boost pack or any special pack I did it right after one small step.

I have been experimenting with with the wait ui glitch you found and it seems to me that the game still thinks you are sitting on a bench making it unable to jump while the ui is bugged, I've tried swapping bindings for jump and several other things still have found no way around this. Got it done with just using amp and level 1 jump pack skill. It seems the amount of money is directly equal to how much they have. Upgrade your ship and get your money back lol.
Ngl I’ve tried about 15 times, traveling to different locations and sleeping and doing everything. Full 24 and full 48 hours. Nothing is restocking him.
Did a big streamer take your glitch here or did someone else figure this out? Found this on a big streamer that losted it an hour ago but you posted it like 8 hours ago in comparison..
It works….. BUT I cannot get the 72,000 credits to respawn. I waited for 48 hours like 10 different times and went other places and waited like a week and came back and nothing. If someone figures this out let me know please!
Questions: Will this get patched or blocked? UPDATE 27 Sep 2023... I was right. It's been patched. The chests are gone, and so is the mud puddle in Akila.
After moving across the back of the damn, I keep getting caught on a barrier at my head level. I'm not low enough to get to the rock where I should start falling. Any advice?
You can just Jump to exit the glitch then go and site on a chair/bench then just wait 24 hours I think on that bench and the Vendor should Reset. make sure to talk to the vendor after the 24 hours waited so it will fully reset. once that is done, just repeat the glitch. I have a wait anywhere glitch coming soon
@@saintfan416 That does happen sometimes. Quite literally I just go and do something else for abit. I will try and find a way to reset the vendors faster. I think it might be 48hours waited, it might also be that you have to wait in another "Instance" like just teleport somewhere else and wait there??. I don't know as of right now. But they ALWAYS reset after a certain time passed so it is repeatable

When you break down the code, certain things like the boxes under the vendors become predictable. Those boxes are where items “spawn” from essentially
It's Creation Engine, and Bethesda normality. Folks expect this in all the games.
If you dont have the jump pack level 2 perk, you can do it with a AMP (AID) stim. It increases your jump height by 2x and movement speed by 35%

You DO NOT need to go back above the map. If you position yourself correctly you can jumó up and talk to the NPC while staying under the map.

how did u get past the swimming part my health is dropping faster than the med packs heal and im using amps and lvl 16
@@david-eyeput the difficulty on very easy while doing this, health doesn’t drop as quickly….. also make sure you aren’t encumbered

I did it once. Slept for 48hrs two separate times and the vendors won’t restock.
Have you talked to the vendors to "see their wares", so to speak?
Offload all the stolen goodies at the den in the wolf system, it orbits chthonia (no scan needed to dock and it has a trade authority vendor)

For all the confused out there. Vendors reset AFTER 48 HOURS OF WAIT TIME. You don't need to fast travel or go anywhere.

How to launder stolen items.
1. Go to Port Authority or Crimson Fleet vendor that buys stolen goods.
2. Sell item to Vendor
3. Buy back item.

This does not work after the September 25 patch, they have sadly, removed buildings to walk on to get to the location to 'flow up' to the the chests.
I just did it however all the chests aren't there lol waste of time

You’re not gonna be running anywhere after looting that chest. Weighs about 400 kilos in total. Gonna be a nice long, out of breath walk

The ship tech’s money never refilled for me either. His ships for sale did but not any money.
So I've left and, went back a few times now did other stuff in game. Now I understand that box with the 75k and why it has sooo much that is the vendors bank roll so you can sell ships to them. They have more cause ships cost more. Trick with technical boxes is buy ships and upgrades and get your money back. You sit next to box an acess ship tech from below genius!! The next trick is to figure out how to get outt map at other star ports!! @vNivara also steal from mertile you can't get caught or I haven't yet and that box has 6k to 7k credit plus suits and it does respawn. Think it'd the normal 48 in game time. But an under estimation is all the resources in that box greeeat for crafting I take all each time I've gone down there. BTW thx for video!!!
@vNivara I have one more question is there anyway to get up to the uc distributors in the commercial section they have all the resources for outpost building and crafting? Uc distributors is kinda above. The area we swim under the water in stead of dropping down anyway to continue traversal upwards!! Jw thx again
You go to Venus and sit down in your ship you wait 24 hrs in game and go back and the chest is refilled. Also the is a easier and faster method to get under the map. Any jet pack will do.
Just so everyone knows, going to venus and sleeping for 48 hours refills the ship vendors money.

I will add it is possible to do with a basic boost pack, it’s a bit harder but doable. I’ve done it on Xbox a few times. Good video btw
So theres actually another chest you can grab from UC distribution. If you have a power pack you can get to it. First you have to go near it and there should be invisible water near it, use it to carry you up to the orange platform and then go to it and use power boost to get up to it and grab what's in it
I got across with 3 meds a sparkling water that gives 20% O2 regen and the one that gives you a speed boost. also when you get to the craves at 3:50 you can just stay on the top ledge walk as close to the shops as possible and it makes getting over the last gap at 4:00 easy if you just boost around that corner. no need for tear 2 boost pack or any special pack I did it right after one small step.
The chests are not there anymore.

I have been experimenting with with the wait ui glitch you found and it seems to me that the game still thinks you are sitting on a bench making it unable to jump while the ui is bugged, I've tried swapping bindings for jump and several other things still have found no way around this.

Got it done with just using amp and level 1 jump pack skill. It seems the amount of money is directly equal to how much they have. Upgrade your ship and get your money back lol.

Ngl I’ve tried about 15 times, traveling to different locations and sleeping and doing everything. Full 24 and full 48 hours. Nothing is restocking him.

It works….. BUT I cannot get the 72,000 credits to respawn. I waited for 48 hours like 10 different times and went other places and waited like a week and came back and nothing. If someone figures this out let me know please!
This is what I worried about. I did a glitch similar in Wells and the weapons and suits or ammo won't respawn 😅😂
You have to go to Venus to wait. Time works differently on that planet. You wait 24 hours in game time and fast travel back rinse and repeat.

I was right. It's been patched. The chests are gone, and so is the mud puddle in Akila.
You won’t get banned and it could get patched but since it’s Bethesda I don’t think it will

That route is super long, there's a MUCH shorter route jumping on the tree and up the building just past the bank in the commercial district.

How to reset the inventory for the technician?
You can just Jump to exit the glitch then go and site on a chair/bench then just wait 24 hours I think on that bench and the Vendor should Reset.
make sure to talk to the vendor after the 24 hours waited so it will fully reset.
once that is done, just repeat the glitch.

I will try and find a way to reset the vendors faster.
I think it might be 48hours waited, it might also be that you have to wait in another "Instance" like just teleport somewhere else and wait there??. I don't know as of right now.
But they ALWAYS reset after a certain time passed so it is repeatable
