Have always considered a birthyear Air-King from the 80's. Those vintage 34mm oysters cases wear perfect for a 6.5 in. wrist. They wear more like a 36mm IMO.

Couldn't agree more and love birth year watches - only wish my birth year was the 80s! Thanks for watching.

You should 100% buy a vintage Rolex Datejust or OP. A worthy addition to any collection and for all the Neanderthals that think anything less than 40mm is a ladies watch, you need to remember that for many many decades 34mm was the standard size of a man’s watch. Far more elegant than wearing a hockey puck on your wrist!

Bingo! On the money!! Feel the same about the size. Thanks for watching.

I have a January 1965 OP Date 1500 , it gets more wrist time than all my modern rollies !. I keep considering a Birth year piece but often wonder if I still have enough time left on this Planet to enjoy it ha ha.

I think one important, if not critical thing I'd want to know is when were these watches last serviced? I'd also want documentation to back up whatever answer I'm given. The last thing I want is a watch that hasn't been serviced in 40 years, no matter how pretty it looks.

If you have those needs I get it. Box, papers make the watch more expensive but at least you have the facts and resale is better. Agree with having a serviced watch if thats what you need. Great thing is you just set your own criteria and go for it. Thanks for watching!

34mm is so small for Rolex, you'll secretly always crave at least two more mm. There are SO many better watches out there for 6694 or 5500 money.

Agree that there's many out there but some love 34mm and have to have Rolex. Thanks for watching.

Why are you so rough on your watches, are you careless?
