- Couldn't find the explicit answer when searching online so yes, it works. Just step forward and to the left, mashing L1. Might take a few tries but the save point is right before it.

Damn, didn't even think of this. I used the flare on the two downed...Starlings? Eules? Whatever small corrupted units Mynah summons & subsequently resurrects. Never occurred to me to try using a flare on Mynah herself.
Those are Ara, the ambushing replikas
Only thing that kept me from doing that was that I thought of waiting until her head was exposed.
The vomit AoE threw me off into thinking she was untouchable in melee - but this video just proved otherwise...
To be fair this is unintentional since its patched on pc, so you beat her the intented way. Especially on survival its basically mandatory to burn the 2 summoned ara units.

no, it works like a stun prod. only thing is the chance of it ignition is less likely if the enemy doesn't have an opening to shove it in

Yea boi. Works on the second boss too, and isn't as tricky as getting it on Mynah.
