At 7:00 when he's teaching riff B, he doesn't mention that after 6-5-5-5 there is a 0 before 4-55. So it actually goes 7-7-5(A)-7-6-5-5-5-0-4-5-5-6

Da Boss Do it with one finger slowed down then work it faster and faster perfectly till its up to tempo then restart adding the finger completed the power chord

Da Boss Yeah if you want and you are learning something not difficult but fast you half the tempo or speed of the song and play it perfectly that fast then incrementally speed it up. Its how you want to pratice everything

I tried learning how to play Iron Man before CZcams ever existed, but never really could figure it out. But now, after watching Marty here, within 4 days, I am now playing up to the 3rd riff and ready to learn the next part. I quit playing my guitar for years because, before CZcams all there was is music books and guitar lessons that you had to pay for. Thanks Marty for your instructional posts. Keep'em coming.
Can't wait for the solo. This is the first song I learned to play over 20 years ago, but never figured out the solo. Going to start playing after not playing for over 10 years. This is the only song I can remember.

Another awesome lesson. This song has 4 separate riffs in one song. I just finished your pentatonic course and I like how on the last riff Iommi adds the blues note to that run.

To play it like Tony you need to: Yes, open E behind the nut bend, BUT hit an E on the D string at the same time, it's 2 notes. One note E on D string, the other note on E string is sharp but bends down to E to make the cool eerie sound. AND the main rhythm / chords during verses must on E & A strings up the neck.

I'm very young still the same age but I didn't know anything about guitars until I saw Marty then I was in love with guitar Marty Schwartz you inspired me!
When I was srelaly young, my dad would play this and when he said "I am Iron Man" I would start crying and run away, now in my teenage years I blast this at full volume

Hi Marty, i really like you're lessons and i've learned playing most of my songs by you, keep on the good work! But i have a question; I can't master the slide between the 9th and the 10th freth from the main riff, do you have any tips or a further explanation to do this?
I strum on the higher note every time and then bring it down instead of what marty does and just strums once and then moves. It makes it sound a little more powerful i think.

at 5:29 the thing you do going from 10 to 9 to 10 to 9.. i don't get it , when i do it the sound goes down.. the last one doesn't sound 'rocky' maybe i'm not fast enough? but when i do it really quickly it's not like the original music.. so pleas haaaalp

1. Might be just volume in general
2. Make sure u press fret so when you move it doesn’t buzz and loose vibration; press on top of fret
