I think that this is Epics way of monopolizing the future of game development. They already own the unreal engine which is leaps and bounds ahead of any other design platform. Now they have made it towhere almost anyone can develope a standalone game using fortnite as a base starting point. I really think that even other AAA game development studios are going to be using UEFN to produce new titles in the future. Which should ensure that epic gets a cut or at very least has control over what assets make it to the market and how games are developed as a whole. Great strategic move by epic on this one! If I had any money to speak of I'd put it all in epic stocks and let it ride!

Uhm... yeah I don't think any respectable AAA game development studio is going to be using UEFN to make new IPs or even existing games in any shape or form- UE exists for that reason.

The Witcher is going to use UE as its engine, whereas before they used to used their own engine. I think it really is UE or bust for a bunch of companies.
I already have started messing around with this software, It is so fun to use. My family is in awe at how easily I can create a realistic gamemode so fast.

@@gamingdaily2070 a 5 year advantage on newer players is massive. I’m very familiar with gaming mechanics to a point it doesn’t matter which game mode they make, I’ll likely be above average at all of them. As newer more popular games modes are made I’m positioned pretty well to develop my skills over other gamers. The player base will definitely surpass its peak in chapter 1

@@raegangottsch2951 there’s big difference between newer players and players very familiar with the game that took a year or so off. I’m anticipating the player base to grow massively due to modding & maps being 100x more realistic than anything on roblox or minecraft.
If you look at the player base as a chart, the peak would have been Ch1 S4/S5 & Lows being mid to late Chapter 2. I can see the player base surpassing the peak again in about a year when there has been plenty of time to develop good games and grow them.
fortnite won’t ever die if the fans and community can just make maps and game modes to keep it fresh

True the reason why fortnite died was because of the amount of random bullshit that goes on nowadays ever since brutes came out the game has never been the same and became more for kids and content creators .... just compare the amount of bs that happens now vs chapter 1 it was so much simpler

There’s endless possibilities with creative 2.0 and how new Fortnite collabs will be like people or epic could create maps like an attack on titan map and fighting titans with odm gear and also like nba by making a basketball game when they add new mechanics. Fortnite could do a lot with creative 2.0 and how if they make creative maps for the collabs it a could be great. Another thing is that if they could do creator Royale or something where they get different creative teams and they all try to make the best map that epic games could sponsor or give them a specific cosmetic or item

Yea, that's the only problem I can see so far with creative 2,0, but I mean, he said he had max graphics on at the start of the video
he was using ultra settings, ray-tracing (it's called differently in fortnite for some reason ''lumen''), shadows, reflections, so yeah... but if you play on your normal settings, you should keep the same, or even more fps than you usually get, since this is an upgrade in performance, not downgrade
@@denzelmolina5945 what do you mean by upgrade? Those plants are gonna take a while lot of fps weather you are on the best or worst visual settings in the game

I am stunned by the entrepreneurial creativity of Epic. It started as a successful game mode (battle royal). They've developed that game and kept it relevant and successfull through massive collabs and keeping it fresh. Now they transition into making it an early version of the metaverse.
I can't think of any company that is so viosnary and forward-pressing and evolving like Epic is. Just amazing.

Fortnite has def always been a game changer… even when the BR first came out it changed online PvP forever. Myth was right when he said fortnite wasn’t the first BR in the space to change PvP (H1Z1, pubg) but it def made PvP the standard of online gaming. 6 years and still finding new ways to change the gaming space.
