- Here we have the oddest Pokemon generation. Instead of making a game for the 3DS, Game Freak decided to stick to the DS... for a bit too long with Pokemon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2.

This was the peak of Pokémon IMO. In terms of passion, effort, and content. Designs are hit or miss but some of my favorite mons are from unova. And the focus on a more mature story was really a sell for me
Story BW series is unbeatable
As a long time series vet i 1000% agree. Generation 5 was special
I'm glad they made sequels instead of just an enhanced version. That would just lessen the value of the original. I mean, look at sun and moon.
For me, I think this is the last generation that they really tried
Granted I would say making a sequel to Sun and Moon would lessen some stuff like the impact of actually becoming Alola's first champion for example.
@@jaydenc367 damn this was a year ago. It would be great if you fought the mc in sun and moon for championship if they made sequels. And very interesting to see the newly constructed gyms that they're planning
@@25kuzon Honestly...I'm happy to stay as Alola's first champion, really though I think it would be cool if in BW2 you could fight the MC of BW1. Also I know people wanted Gyms but I honestly am glad it never happened as really gyms would clash against the traditions of Alola and feel out of place honestly.

Chandelure is one of my favorites, along with Aegislash from X/Y. Inanimate object pokemon. Huh.

My least favorite generation but with the most improvement
Not having older generations really hurt this game and knowing it was 2010 where games were getting much more expansive made this Gen look like it was reaching its limitations on the DS
I respect the fact that you acknowledge how much effort was put into these games even though it’s your least favorite gen. You’d be hard pressed to find this same sentiment anywhere

I had that same problem but it's easy to get passed it just by downloading separate rom, but just look up exp fixed.
