- Day 4 of our 2021 Road trip from FL to Montana we enjoyed a beautiful day at Ha Ha Tonka State Park then ended the day filling up our cooler with the yummiest cheese. If your ever on HWY 13 in Missouri and want to get the best snack and stretch your legs, this is a great stop. Found by luck on our 2019 road trip, it will be a stop anytime we are in the area. It is such a fun stop for the kids and adults ;) DON'T FORGET to check out the rest of our road trip VIDEOS!

We enjoyed the wonderful tour of HaHa Tonka State Park, it looks like it was a wonderful stop. Thank goodness the "traffic" was fairly light along the way. 🐮🐮 The castle has an interesting history with lovely views - It's beautiful to see! Great views of the pretty Mallard Ducks. that natural bridge is cool! I love the fall colors! The history of the castle is kind of devastating but I'm glad they kept the remaining parts intact! Thanks for the informative video!!

Cool stop along your trip. That castle was super neat to see. I really love the architecture of these old stone structures. Too bad it burned down. Nice reflections on the water and seeing the ducks too. Thanks for the history and the tour. Have a great day

I first visited in 1985, sure wish I had a video camera then. Took my son there last spring. The ruins are beautiful.

You really have a lovely voice. Such a fun day journey. Sad to know about the collapsed bridge. But it looks fun walking on the trail with lots of adventures are waiting. I love the carriage house, and its history behind it, and the view from the castle ruins around it are breathtaking. As you walk at the spring trail, the scenery and colors of the water are fabulous, with lots of ducks swimming around. The cheese is my favorite part. I enjoyed watching your great adventure, my friend. I am always amazed every time I watch your video. I'll see you again.

Looks like Missouri is competing with Wisconsin with that cheese collection. 😂 Would be so fun to look around in there. I’ve only been to Missouri once, Colin, never. I’d love to go to the state park. I really like that they kept the rest of the castle. And the springs are beautiful. 🥰

That looked like a great stop. Cool natural history and a castle too! Pretty cool that the castle was made from rocks on the property. The arch and springs were amazing. Looks like you all (sorry, y'all) are having a great trip!
Thanks, it was! It was neat they quarried all that right from the property, imagine the man power that built that mansion, I think it was like 60 rooms?? I wouldn't want to dust or clean that, but I guess that's why they had housekeepers! Lol thanks for watching!
