Romario and R9 really hard to split. Then Ronaldinho.

Within the area, Romário was the best. Ronaldo was more skillful than Romário and Ronaldinho was the most magical. If I wanted someone to define a game, I would choose Romário

Romario now in modern Football in a team like Man City would score double what he scored. Being served as a central
    Striker in a front three..

Romario's really a genius, but the bicycle kick has been around since at least the 1930s (the first one photorographed doing that move was a Brazilian, Leônidas da Silva). He didn't even come close to inventing it.

  • @andrepassos6798

Ronaldinho fenomeno ( R9) was inspired by him, they played together, Romario was the best finisher of the world, ever, with cirurgical accuracy inside the area. He scored +1000 goals . He started his career on Vasco da Gama( team of Dinamite, childish team of Pele, that introduced him in Brazilian national team), where Romario played the most of all his games in life. He is top 5 scorers in Brazilian national champioship ( Brasileirão série A):
Roberto Dinamite - 190 gols. ( Vasco da Gama)
    Fred - 158 gols. ( Fluminense/Atletico-MG/ Cruzeiro )
    Romário - 154 gols. ( Vasco da gama / Flamengo/Fluminense)
    Edmundo - 153 gols. ( Vasco da Gama / Palmeiras )
    Zico - 135 gols ( Flamengo)

His team mates liked him.. but a lot of his coaches didn’t. He was super arrogant (which I love.. and which was part of the ice in his veins) .. he didn’t like to train.. he liked to party.. and I like his approach.. you don’t want talent trained out of you.
He was REALLY good for his team mates as he exudes such confidence it lifted his team. He was a leader in that way.
If he had gone to the 1998 worldcup he would have lifted the brazil team’s morale when R9 had his fit before the final. They we’re all worried and good focus on the game) .
If you want to watch another Romario video watch the one by MatigolVidz.
As a politician he gives zero fs. He says what he thinks and is a real peoples champion and goes after the corruption in Brazilian politics.
His interviews are funny (if you understand Portuguese) .. since his football days he was really outspoken.
Guardiola (his teammmate at Barcelona) said in a clip that when Romario arrived in the dressing room pre-game you knew if he was going to score 3 goals or not based on whether he was in a good mood or not.

The Brazilian team he started with is called Vasco and plays in white / and black and white.
He played at some point for flamengo ..red and black.
He played for PSV first in Europe (white and red stripes) .. that’s the Dutch league.
Then barca for one full season.
Then after messing about for another half user he went back home to brazil. Brazilians miss their country a lot.

@@blazereacts9630 he won a few Dutch titles with PSV. Got quite garçom the champions league with them (it was called the European Cup back then.
Won the La Liga (slavish league) title with Barca in his one full year with them (1993-1994). He promised in advance that he would score 30 goals, be the top goal scorer in the league and win the title.. and he did. He always used to do stuff like that.. say what he was going to do and then mostly achieve what he said.
Lost in the final of the European Cup in 1994 to AC Milan. (Cruyff, the coach, didn’t play Michael Laudrup < mistake. You could only play 3 foreign players in that time , and he had 4 big foreign players to choose from and had to drop one. .. the opposing coach suas Laudrup was the one he feared.. I recommend reacting to hun: Michael Laudrup by HeilRJ.
Anyway.. then off to the 1994 Worldcuo which he won with Brazil. Their first world choosiness 1970. He was voted best player of the tournament and got top goal scorer. He as then voted World Player of the Year. (At this time this was more important than Ballon d’Or as you could not win the latter if you were not European).
Then went to brazil and won a bunch of titles with teams there.

@@blazereacts9630 Romario is a Brasil and Vasco da Gama legend. Second highest scorer is the club history. Third highest scorer is the history of the Brazilian League. Best Player in the World Award in 94 after winning the 94 World Cup. He won multiple trophies at Vasco (where he both started and ended his career), most importantly the Brazilian League (2000) and the Mercosul Cup (2000) which is South American Europa League equivalent; that year he also scored 76 gols in one season which one of best seasons for a player ever, only behind Messi, Zico, Gerd Muller, Bican, and Pelé.
