The guy is built for this, he is strong, good timing, long, hits hard has good cardio. You need to khabib wrestle him, or knock him out to get the win.

Even when Yan took him down, he couldn't do much. He has great ground defence. Wrestling/grappling is their best bet though.

But aside from Jones, Pereira is the nastiest striker in the game. Hell, I’d even go as far to say that if they could meet each other halfway in weight, Poatan would give Bones a run for his money. Meet at Light Heavyweight if Alex decides to move up a class. THAT would be a PPV for the ages! Poatan would just need to tighten up his takedown defense and wrestling, since he was a pure kickboxer for so long.

All of Alex training is the most: intensive, unusual, unique, strategic, different, precise, technical, conditioning, accurate, targeting, timing, patience and focus.

I agree. Only thing I will say is I don't think he has the right sparring partners for Izzy. When has anyone seen Izzy be so flat footed. He needs guys with more movement imo.

Well done mate, honestly, even knowing how good Alex was going in, huge fan of him in glory, I had izzy winning in the octagon. I'm impressed by both guys in that fight after the result, Alex is the more effective kickboxer, no discussion.

Not that it is false but it will need a lot of improvements. Boxers protect themselves during and after their punch. Alex is throwing his head with punches sometimes and after hitting there is almost no shoulder roll to prevent counters

Many people say that Alex is slow. It really seems to be but it's a mistake. He developed a technique of his own due to his enormous size. Proof that he's not slow is that he knocked Adesanya out again. And he was double glory champion too

If so not by me. Alex must be speeding up the footage himself.
I think Izzy is still going to have problems with Alex.

People underestimate Alex and saying he is too slow but he got some knock out power and trains with Glover Alex got speed a little and more power also he is improving his ground and pound game

Too slow for Izzy. They have increased the speed on some of the footages. Izzy will completely dominate him or KO him.

Yep Izzy definitely faster and more evasive and can win if he plays for points as usual and Alex knows that and hopefully will hunt him down cause he only has to crack him with one of those rights and it’s lights out for Iz..anyway hope we get an actual fight and may the best man win
